“Unacceptable conditions – worst stay I’ve ever had” As the owner of a cleaning business in Montana and a former housekeeper myself, I have high—but reasonable—expectations for cleanliness and basic comfort. My stay at Chotel in Spokane was horrifyingly below standard. There was urine all over the toilet, the mattresses were flipped upside down, and most shockingly, there was blood in the shower. I wish this were an exaggeration—it’s not. It was the most disgusting, uncomfortable, and unacceptable lodging experience I’ve ever had. I genuinely expected more from a hotel charging guests for what should be a clean and safe space. If this is reflective of their regular housekeeping standards, I urge management to take this seriously and overhaul their cleaning protocols. Zero stars—because even that feels generous.Bathroom: Urine left on the toilet seat and base; shower had visible blood stains—an immediate health concern. - Bedding: Mattresses were flipped upside down, exposing worn and stained undersides—no fitted sheets or proper setup. - Cleanliness: Dust, debris, and signs of neglect in corners and under furniture; no evidence of recent vacuuming or sanitation. - Customer Service: No effort made to address the state of the room after reporting; no compensation or apology offered. - Overall Condition: Room smelled stale, and general upkeep of the space felt abandoned—definitely not what’s advertised.

We were trapped in the hotel there was protests going on that wasn't the hotels fault but we missed dinner with our family because of it. The people were partying in the room above us the last night until 4 am which was rediculous ilwe were there dealing with my husbands mom who had a brain aneurysm and not being able to be with our family was really messed up

Overall satisfied with hotel, room, staff and clean pool. Parking was good but not satified had to pay for parking, thought it should be included with stay. Nice restaurant here in hiotel but not much options to choose from. They offer room service with limited meal options. Close to Riverfront park which is great, to walk in .
