I booked my wife and myself for a short stay over our 32 anniversary. The room was listed as a "luxury" room and it certainly fit the bill. Spacious, high ceilings, gorgeous bathroom, the room was lovely. The staff was very helpful as well. I plan to recommend the Hampton to all of my traveling friends.

Pleasant stay, with comfortable room and easy access around the city.
With an Air Ciach stop rightist side the door alone with bus stops and a 5 minute walk to the Dart this hotel is close to everything. Tons of restaurants just 5 minutes away in Ballsbridge with everything from pizza to French Bistros.
The hotel is a beautiful historic building and the rooms are comfortable, perhaps a little outdated, by still very charming. The bathrooms are modern. As a female traveller I will be happy to see the day when you can get separate shampoo and conditioner not the 2-in-1. That doesn't work. Does any woman use that?
My ironing board didn't work and housekeeping didn't respond to the note I left. My toilet ran from time to time and controlling the heat seemed impossible. These are small things.
Others may disagree but I find the food in the pub ok at best and the prices aren't cheap.
The staff were fantastic, both helpful and kind.
I've stayed here twice for a week at a time and I will probably stay again the future.

A great hotel with very friendly staff. Easy to get too from airport by bus or car & town is only a short bus ride away so you don't have to drive.😎👍 ( use the green hop on service that's free from the hotel into town)😀

Pleasant friendly hotel. Only downside was that it was extremely hot in our room which was on the top floor. Hotel could maybe think about providing some fans when the weather is very warm. Very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly, knowledgable and helpful and the breakfasts were lovely. Good shower too. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but available in the comfortable lobby along with delicious homemade biscuits. Well situated for visiting the Dublin Horse Show and within easy walk of some very nice pubs and restaurants.

I really enjoyed my stay at Glenogra. The room is super spacious and clean. Very nice beds and bathroom. Check in was super easy, I just signed in when I got there and right away I got the keys to my room. Joe even helped me carry my suitcase upstairs. It's a little bit far from the city center, but the awesome thing is that there's a bus stop right there at the front so it's super easy to get to and from. My only problem is that I got cold in the room, not when I'm sleeping, but just when I first got up in the morning and I couldn't find the thermostat, and this was in July.

Leafy Ballsbridge is a quiet and exclusive residential area, a 20-30 minute walk into town (served by frequent buses). The Grand Canal flows through it, and while much of this waterway is less than grand, there is a pleasant stretch near the Richmond Street bridge with canal-side pubs. George Bernard Shaw’s birthplace is a popular neighbouring attraction.
