"Good hotel in a very central position"
We did have to change rooms because of a fault with a leaking toilet. This complaint was dealt with quite efficiently although we didn't get the information requested regarding the time it would take to repair the fault.

"Can't ask for more at the price!"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Paramount Hotel. It is perfectly situated in Temple Bar very close to a huge variety of bars and restaurants. The hotel staff could not do enough for us and had excellent local knowledge which was a great help. We were able to check in very early and they allowed us to check out later than stated too. The only minor points were a few niggly bits in the room that are barely worth mentioning. They were not serious enough for us to notify the staff during our stay (though we did politely mention after). One bit advice to those looking to book is that the rooms we had were adjacent to a very noisy bar. However this is completely out of the hotel's control and we should have expected it having chosen to stay in the bustling Temple Bar area. Perhaps requesting a room not directly looking out onto the road would alleviate some of these issues. We would definitely recommend the hotel if you get a good deal as we did and hope to stay again.

"Nice hotel great location "
We stayed for two nights in room 205, we were early to check in but welcomed by a nice lady on reception, the room was spacious and had a big bathroom, very nice and clean. only bad points are the tv needs an update as you have to find the channels from 99 down and the windows are only singular glased and you can hear the bus station, trams and street cleaner very loudly at night

"Old world hotel with charm. "
The Castle hotel is in a great area of Dublin i.e. not too close to major tourist area. The staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. The Cellar and Restaurant bar came in handy after a long day touring. Although you can get hop on hop off passes to buses we walked everywhere. Dublin is an easily walkable city.

    Explore Dublin

This lively, literary city hunkered on the banks of the Liffey revels in its heritage. Dublin’s compact center displays the marks of its dramatic history – centuries of religion, revolution and resurgence. But the Irish capital is also a booming modern city, a multicultural art and high-tech hub.

Start at Dublin Castle, dating back to 1204. At stately Trinity College you can view the intricate Book of Kells, an illustrated religious masterpiece from 800 AD. Cross the O'Connell Street Bridge to the north side, where the drama of Irish independence played out in the early 20th century.

True to legend, you're never far from a great pub in Dublin. You’ll find grand 19th-century establishments as well as humble gems with corners as dark as a pint of locally brewed Guinness. Wander from one to another, enjoying the stories and boundless energy of the locals. Experience the Irish love of words in cozy bookshops and electric live theater. Sample fusion fare in Temple Bar or savor new Irish cuisine in St. Stephen's Green.
