Drury Court Hotel

28-30 Lower Stephen Street, Dublin - Map
I arranged a stay at the Drury Court Hotel for my daughters as they arrived in Dublin for the beginning of their week in Ireland. The staff communicated with me many, many times through emails to assure me that their rooms would be ready and all their needs taken care off. My daughters texted me upon their arrival to say how wonderful the staff were to them and how nice their room was and that they enjoyed the pub right next door. They were thrilled with their accommodations and I was thrilled with the staff for helping me arrange what I wanted for them via several emails. They truly enjoyed their Dublin experience with the great location of the Drury Court Hotel. It was perfect!

"Very central for Temple Bar Area"
The hotel was very easy to find and very centrally located. Right at the end of Temple Bar which meant there was no notice or disruption. The room was lovely and clean and had all the amenities. Staff were very friendly. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage in storage until check in time. Great eating and shopping places around the hotel and lots to see and do. Would definitely stay here again.

Ashling Hotel Dublin

"Convenient location and nice hotel"
On the northwest side of central Dublin, the Ashling was a nice hotel to stay at. The rooms were nice and it is located next to Heuston Station making any train trips to the south or west very convenient. The Luas stop is right by the hotel, but the tram heading east to all of the fun stops was almost always full. We didn't mind the walking, but if you do, be prepared.

10 Fleet Street Temple Bar, Dublin - Map
"Location location location"
Facilities are average as is hotel cleanliness. Not awful but certainly better hotels in Dublin. For the purpose of our visit the location was the main selling point and it was indeed perfect. If you are not in Dublin to visit Temple Bar there are better and cheaper hotels. On a side note the lifts were broken during our stay and were not fixed. Carpets on the stairs were very dirty and worn.

    Explore Dublin

This lively, literary city hunkered on the banks of the Liffey revels in its heritage. Dublin’s compact center displays the marks of its dramatic history – centuries of religion, revolution and resurgence. But the Irish capital is also a booming modern city, a multicultural art and high-tech hub.

Start at Dublin Castle, dating back to 1204. At stately Trinity College you can view the intricate Book of Kells, an illustrated religious masterpiece from 800 AD. Cross the O'Connell Street Bridge to the north side, where the drama of Irish independence played out in the early 20th century.

True to legend, you're never far from a great pub in Dublin. You’ll find grand 19th-century establishments as well as humble gems with corners as dark as a pint of locally brewed Guinness. Wander from one to another, enjoying the stories and boundless energy of the locals. Experience the Irish love of words in cozy bookshops and electric live theater. Sample fusion fare in Temple Bar or savor new Irish cuisine in St. Stephen's Green.
