"nice hotel"
We stayed at Clayton hotel the night before we left Dublin. The cleanliness of the room was more than we expected and the bed was very comfortable. The rate was not bad at all and I would have stayed at this hotel instead of the city center if I had known better...the hotel we stayed in the city was just so loud from the pubs outside and cost was much higher. We could take taxi back and forth and this hotel would be still cheaper.

"Our Days in Dublin"
This is a very well located hotel that makes it easy to walk to the interesting sites in central Dublin. It is also convenient to the placers where the tour buses pick you up. The staff is outstanding. Helpful in every way. The breakfast is quite good and the night club next door is much fun. The only word of caution is that this hotel is in Temple Bar and that is a busy night area and can be noisy. However, it is also colorful and there are wonderful pubs and restaurants virtually at the front door. It is also just a block from the river Liffey with its lovely river walk. All in All,a very good choice of hotel for Dublin.

"Convenient airport shuttle"
We used this hotel as a means to get to Dublin Airport in early AM and it served it's purpose well. The airport shuttle is independent and serves a few hotels. It runs frequently (every 20 min. in early AM) and was right on time, the driver carried our bags, and we got to the airport in good time.

"Perfect location for air travel & car rental"
Good responsive staff. Comfortable beds. Problems: Sub-standard room lighting. "Trendy" bath design-difficult shower controls and lousy "rain" type shower head. Overall very good. Will book again.

    Explore Dublin

This lively, literary city hunkered on the banks of the Liffey revels in its heritage. Dublin’s compact center displays the marks of its dramatic history – centuries of religion, revolution and resurgence. But the Irish capital is also a booming modern city, a multicultural art and high-tech hub.

Start at Dublin Castle, dating back to 1204. At stately Trinity College you can view the intricate Book of Kells, an illustrated religious masterpiece from 800 AD. Cross the O'Connell Street Bridge to the north side, where the drama of Irish independence played out in the early 20th century.

True to legend, you're never far from a great pub in Dublin. You’ll find grand 19th-century establishments as well as humble gems with corners as dark as a pint of locally brewed Guinness. Wander from one to another, enjoying the stories and boundless energy of the locals. Experience the Irish love of words in cozy bookshops and electric live theater. Sample fusion fare in Temple Bar or savor new Irish cuisine in St. Stephen's Green.
