"Quiet, comfortable and close to everything."
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at this hotel, everyone was professional and pleasant. The location was central to everything and yet my room was not facing the park so it was quieter perhaps and you would never know that you were in the middle of town from the quietness of the room, even with the window open. The room was comfortable and everything provided. I enjoyed working in my room because it was quiet and relaxed with a sunny green outlook.

"Nice hotel centrally located"
Great location. Short walk to trinity college and temple bar. Nice bar and restaurant on site. Valet parking option was nice but a bit expensive. We stayed here twice - one night at beginning of our trip and 2 nights at end of our trip. Rooms were a bit warm and stuffy but well maintained and comfortable. Twin rooms were also a bit small for 2 large suitcases. Overall a great experience and would recommend to a friend.

"Could do better"
This hotel is in a fabulous location overlooking the harbour. It is a minutes walk across the lawns to the promenade. Therefore, if possible, get a bedroom room at the front and on a high floor (5th or 6th). In addition, my room was a good size with a separate shower and bath whereas my friend had a very small room with only a shower. The downside is the service. For example checking in took ages - several people seemed to have problems including having been booked for dates other than those they had specified. Secondly waiting staff clearly had not been trained in how to serve table properly. Getting a bill in the restaurant was a bit chaotic - we had to ask several times and it still did not come but hen we went to leave, it was actually sitting at the till. A colleague when ordering a drink was told they could not have one by a waitress who said she was too busy.

    Explore Dublin

This lively, literary city hunkered on the banks of the Liffey revels in its heritage. Dublin’s compact center displays the marks of its dramatic history – centuries of religion, revolution and resurgence. But the Irish capital is also a booming modern city, a multicultural art and high-tech hub.

Start at Dublin Castle, dating back to 1204. At stately Trinity College you can view the intricate Book of Kells, an illustrated religious masterpiece from 800 AD. Cross the O'Connell Street Bridge to the north side, where the drama of Irish independence played out in the early 20th century.

True to legend, you're never far from a great pub in Dublin. You’ll find grand 19th-century establishments as well as humble gems with corners as dark as a pint of locally brewed Guinness. Wander from one to another, enjoying the stories and boundless energy of the locals. Experience the Irish love of words in cozy bookshops and electric live theater. Sample fusion fare in Temple Bar or savor new Irish cuisine in St. Stephen's Green.
