San Francisco 2 star Hotels

Everything was good beyond expectations, except the manager lady seemed a bit rude

Rooms were very clean and modern, beds were comfy, and A/C worked well. Keurig in the room was nice but the hair dryer was old and didn't blow out much air. The staff were excellent and friendly. Only downfall for the location; high homeless population in the area. I wouldn't walk alone in the area after dark. However, nearby business owners/staff were incredibly friendly.

You are only a few minutes walk from fishermans wharf so we parked the car up,free parking a bonus,room clean,basic hotel but comfy beds

Weekend vacation to SF though couldn't find a decent motel in the city. Glad we booked this motel. It was perfect. No issues at all.

great location. Very friendly staff. good continental breakfast. Only negative is parking. Not enough spaces. We had to double park. I was asked by Hotel night staff to help her move other guests' cars ( 2 cars) so I could pull mine out. She also asked for help to pull out Big garbage bin to use that space as a parking spot.

Spur of the moment trip and you had an availability which was great and it was a great price for the location and closeness to the wharf guy on the desk was super nice as well

The hotel was under renovations when I was there, so the foyer was a couple of fold-tables. It will probably be nice when they're done. I pressed the button for my floor in the elevator only partially, and the light on it, and the up arrow on the door both flashed randomly until I pushed the button fully. Worrysome, but I risked it and got to my floor no problem. The hotel is situated in the middle of the large homeless area of San Francisco, so the streets outside smell of smoke and urine, but it's the same for any hotel around there. Room was small, but it was only for me, so it was fine. Nice and clean, with decent water pressure in the shower. There was no noise, and the curtains closed well to give darkness, so I could sleep in. Decent check-out time. The hallways were fine, and I liked each room has a name on it, as well as the number. Would use again.

The Alpine Inn and Suites helped me to enjoy my stay in San Francisco. It is not as close to the city as I had hoped and there is not a lot to do within close proximity to the hotel. However, the hotel makes up for it in the sense that travelers are not close to all of the noise and city traffic. The hotel is about 15-25 minutes from San Francisco by car but much longer to attractions by the bus. I strongly advise using a car and a navigation system during your stay. The hotel sits directly behind the Cow Palace and is within a short driving distance to several stores and restaurants. If you want big city hotel amenities, then you may not appreciate the unique charm that Alpine Suites has. Travelers who enjoy warm, friendly, and quiet environments will love it.

Good location, cozy room, pleasantly surprised! Breakfast wasn't anything to write about.

We missed our flight and had it stay the night near SFO. Mylo served this purpose well.
