Hotel was very nice inside looks a little off outside. But once you are inside very modern looking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the room was great fro the price we paid. We only stayed one night but it was still a great hotel. Definitely going to stay here again.

"Nice Hotel. Great location."
Very friendly and helpful staff. Located very close to 2 highways so easy to get around. Well equipped kitchen. Soft warm cookies out front. Breakfast is small but will do. Terrific supermarket down the street ( Lucky Market). Staff responds quickly and politely to requests. Only complaint would be the pillows are not comfortable and no oven. I would definitely go back or recommend.

"Pleasantly surprised!"
My wife and I were totally pleased from check-in until check-out. The staff were friendly, hospitable, and helpful. It was over the Thanksgiving weekend and the place was almost empty, so we were given a room off the pool. Now even though it was a standard room, (albeit clean with a comfortable bed with down pillows and comforters), having a sliding door to a small private patio made things so much more light and airy. It was an expensive room, but thanks to Expedia, we made out like bandits!

"Excellent deal!"
We were very impressed with this hotel. It was an excellent deal! The rooms as well as the office were very clean. And it was great to get a good cup of coffee and a small breakfast before we left in the morning. The management were very friendly too.

"Eh.."
My fiance and I stayed at the Vagabond Inn in Sunnyvale CA. We live about 4 hours away and didnt want to wake up at 3am to arrive at my inlaws on time. We only chose the Vagabond because of the price and location. When we arrived in was a bit startled by the woman at the front desk. She appeared to be friendly but once I walked in, I smiled and said that I had made a reservation. Without being able to complete my sentence, she quickly said, "I'll need to see your ID and credit card." Um ok. I said I would go get it. I asked my fiance to go in with me and told him that I was cut off before I could give her my name. He didn't like that. We walked back into the reception area and she asked what my name was and for the credit card with a snappy tone of voice. I don't know if we interrupted something she was doing but whatever it was obviously irritated her, which led her to take said irritability out on us. It was not pleasant. The room, on the other hand, was comfortable. It had a homelike feel to it. It was tidy and didn't have a weird smell to it like some hotel have. Other than the front desk issues, we enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful day at my inlaws.

"Reasonably priced hotel near business meeting."
I did not expect much for the price, and wound up feeling the value was very good. It's a little noisy right next to Route 101, but it didn't keep me up. Pleasant and accommodating staff.

"Sunnyvale Inn"
Hotel is ok. It's just that it's dated. If you trip is purely for light business travel (not for vacation) then it should be okay. Just go in sleep and leave. I did not had a chance to try the breakfast so no comment there.

Sunnyvale is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Sunnyvale, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Sunnyvale hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
