"Great stay!"
Excellent hotel. Close to all of the attractions in and around Trafalgar square, whether Gordon's Wine Bar or Five Guys - both near Charing Cross Station. Convenient to see the Horse Guards. Very easy to do business with the UK government - all main buildings only 2-3 city blocks distant. Breakfast in the hotel had good variety and was delicious.

We stayed 2 nights in London and we were in a central location near the Queen's walk (near the river). It was also conveniently located near a bus and tube station.

"Fantastic views"
Four of us stayed here for a special treat. It was a wonderful stay. To get a room with views over the city rather than the south we paid an extra £50 but it was well worth it. We went out for a meal and returned to spend the evening in Gong, their cocktail/wine bar. At first we couldn't get a seat by the window, however, there was a quick turn around of guest so eventually we did get one. We saw day turn to night which gave us a changing aspect of the terrific views. The swimming pool was smaller than we expected but it also had great views. Overall a great experience.

"Exceptional Service!"
My family stayed here the same night that British Airways cancelled all flights, so there were at least a hundred people checking in at the same time. The staff could not have been more polite and patient and completely focused on ensuring everyone's comfort. From the General Manager to Reception to Housekeeping... everyone had a smile on their face and seemed very proud to be a part of this hotel. I later found out that this was only their second day opening! Very highly recommend.

"Centrally Located, Well-Appointed, Great Service!"
When I first arrived at Kingsway Hall, to be honest, I wasn't super-impressed. The hotel is on a quiet side street, didn't seem to be in the "center of everything" and the decor looked a bit dated. I got to my room, and it was ok - or so I thought. As it turns out, the climate control didn't work, so I froze all night. When I mentioned this to the staff the next morning, the maintenance crew "fixed" it, but now the heat didn't turn off, so I baked that night. When I mentioned this to another staff person, Iggy, he immediately got in touch with the hotel manager and they moved me to a better room with climate control that worked. In fact, she personally walked me to the room to make sure everything was fine, and both of them checked in with me again to make sure I was happy. This was truly awesome service. As for location, it took me a day to realize that Kingsway Hall is only a 5-10 minute walk to the center of Covent Garden area - it really is super close to everything. Having it be on a quiet street was actually really nice to come back to after being out in the noise of Soho, Covent Garden, and Picadilly Circus. I do with the decor was modernized a bit - the styling is from the late 80's/early 90's - just not my taste. However, the service, location, and overall value means that I'd definitely recommend it, and would definitely come back when I'm in London.

Very comfortable and homey. Location is great. Walking distance to everything. Rooms are good size and well appointed. Much like it was twenty years ago when I used to stay at Brown's but with everything upgraded of course. Glad to see they kept the feeling of home

"Close proximity to tourist attractions & entertain"
The rooms are tiny but the staff was wonderful and helpful. There are restaurants literally within a few feet from the property. The tube is only a few feet away as well. You can take the tube from the airport to the hotel with no issues. Very nice property but there is a bit of construction going on at the moment. Enjoyed my stay and would go back.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Waltham Forest hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
