"Convenient location"
Indeed a hostel experience. A bit pricey for a family of four in a tight room with bunk beds. Extremely tight parking inside hotel premises, may have to park on street. Breakfast OK, clean your own dishes, Seems popular for young hikers and outdoor enthusiasts with minimal expectations.

"Very pleasant experience at Moose Hotel"
As a super picky person myself on hotels, I rarely do hotel reviews, particularly a good one. However, Moose definately gave me such a positive impression which motivates me for this comment. The hotel is newly established with all its rooms furnished brand new, so does the reception hall and public amenities. What I like is that everything in the room is new and CLEAN, especially beddings and towels. Every room has a nice cozy balcony. Yet I cannot hear any noise even when my room is facing the street. The outside look of the hotel is also very unique and attractive. The location is easy to access and close to the town centre so that I can easily walk to the shops and restaurants, and the supermarket. I also want to mention that the Pacini Italian restaurant located on the ground floor of the hotel is exceptionally good. I had one lunch and two breakfasts there, they made very delicious food. Most of the time, I undervalued the restaurants inside of a hotel, but this one has no fear to compete with any other restaurant in town. All the staff, in the restaurant and the hotel, are warm, nice, they make pleasant talks about the local view attractions.

The room was small but the location was excellent. There was parking very nearby that was free if you moved your car during the day and other parking for $5 a day which was affordable.

"Nice retreat away from crowds"
The RimRock is a first class hotel located up the mountain from the summer crowds of Banff. The room we reserved - a "Junior Suite" King Bed turned out to be spacious but with horrible views of the roof of the lobby and parking area. It hardly felt like an upgrade. We ended up "downgrading" to premium room, which was smaller, but had spectacular views and was quite adequate for our needs. To their credit, the staff helped make this happen during a time where everything in Banff was totally booked up.

"Room needs service & hallway smells terrible "
Overall it was a nice stay except that the furnace made a terrible smell in the room, the bathroom sink was clogged and the toilet would run the water until we had to lift the top and stop it. We were on the first floor and the whole hallway smelled disgusting, clearly coming from the garbage room. It was also very hard to get ahold of the front desk, I called a few times with no answer. Friday night we rented movies and could not get the DVD player to work and when I finally got ahold of someone at 8pm he said everyone was gone home and could not help us. Also, we mentioned to the front desk that when the fireplace is turned on it melts the bottom of the DVD player, the sticker on it was melted onto the ledge. Would stay at this hotel again but not through paradise, only directly through the grand rockies resort.

"Very nice hotel"
The hotel was very nice we have stayed there about three times now and have always had a good experience. It is great to have a full kitchen and underground parking The pool is great and its nice that they have a kid friendly area in it. The staff are always friendly and accommodating as well. The only complaint is about the sofa bed, it was quite uncomfortable and you can feel the springs when you lay in it and it creates quite a bit of noise when you move. I woke up many times in the night due to discomfort and was sore in the morning. Normally we would book a 2 bedroom which is always awesome but they were already sold out due to our last minute booking.

"Perfect for families."
We had a fabulous stay at Rundle Cliffs. Very comfortable in a 2 bedroom premium suite - plenty of room for our family of 5. We loved the gorgeous views and the fireplace. Such a great base to then go and explore Banff and Lake Louise.
