Unfortunately when I arrived after paying a rather large amount of money for my stay in comparison to other hotels I was told that the Spa access was not included. There was no information about any surcharges to use the Spa. I had thoroughly searched for any information as this is the second time this had happened using Hotels.com. There was no option also to add this so I was hit with a £30 per person per day extra fee which I find totally unacceptable and really put a hinder on our trip.

Loved our stay at the Corinthia and I I'll return in the future. The upgrade to the Executive club was worth it a nice place to sit and have a couple of drinks and some food after a day sightseeing. The only slight negative would be our room and although it was fine it was maybe more a 4 star room but everything else about the hotel was 5 star including the Spa which was excellent.

The pool saunas steam rooms and jacuzzis were a real plus for this property for us. The breakfast buffet was overwhelmed by the number of guests with waiting times and cold food-definitely a challenge over the holiday period
