The hotel is overall great but we were put in the 6th floor with an AC that didn't work. They blamed the amount of sun hitting the room but that was not the issue. THE AC didn't work --- we then moved to a new room and the amount of air blown from that AC was quite different. Other than that the stay was great. Staff really made up for this problem...genuine concern.

This hotel is a great smaller boutique hotel that is perfectly situated to many/most of London's most important sites. The staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The restaurant is pretty and the food was above average, although the service, at least for breakfast, could be improved. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone!

This hotel was in a really great location, and the hotel was above average. It wasn't the best hotel, but adequate in all aspects. Our air conditioning didn't really cool our room, but luckily, it wasn't overly warm. Nice bathroom and the rooms are fairly large. Beds are firm, but nice. Overall nice stay.

Location, location and location. Spitting distance from Trafalgar Square, close to two underground stations. Bus stop in front of hotel. Free laundrette is great for extended stays (where do you find that in hotels anymore). Really posh and well done lobby and lounge. There are two Pret a Mangers close by, a Cafe Nero downstairs and several great other cafes restaurants within 3 minutes walk. I have stayed in London many many times on both business & pleasure mostly at large chain hotels (4 or 5 star) and find The Grand at Trafalgar a better value for money.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It is half a block from the Embankment underground station and a comfortable walking distance from many of the popular London sites, such as Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye, The London Underground, Soho and Covent Garden shops, theatres, and restaurants, National Gallery is around the corner, Scotland Yard is across the street. The staff are very nice and accommodating. There are laundry facilities on site (tokens purchased from the concierge) and computers in the lobby. The rooms are clean and air conditioned (for the rare hot summer days). The kitchens in the apartments have a small dishwasher and fridge. The one bedroom apt has a pull-out couch that is actually two twin beds, which is handy when traveling with kids.

Long known as London's red-light and entertainment district, Soho is the area between Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road, and Piccadilly Circus tube stations. Visitors to Soho will see nightclubs, flagship stores like Liberty, and London's Chinatown. Relive the 1960s on Carnaby Street, or take in a show at one of the area's many theatres.
