After 3 long weeks of traveling through Cambodia and Vietnam (and staying at very questionable places); my partner and I treated ourselves to a two night stay at the Amara Bangkok Hotel. We absolutely loved the hotel, staff, and location. We had a slight problem with our shower (the drain was plugged) but reception sent someone right away to fix the problem. Other than that, i would give this hotel a 5 star rating, and I cannot wait to come back and stay here again.

"Nice quiet hotel away from the hassle and bustle. "
I always stay in the Bangrak area to be away from the touristy areas, and isanook was a nice chance from the normal Band B I stay in. The local shop house restaurant in the area are great, you just have to find them. Staff here are so onto it, really impressed.
