Good stay, quiet and busyness can be experienced. Close to public transport and sights. Good food and shopping malls nearby too. Overall good experience. The bakery shop at the front is also good which belongs to the hotel.

This was our one big splurge on a 6 week backpacking trip. We showed up dirty and disheveled with our backpacks on (probably not what they normally see) and they were absolutely lovely to us and upgraded us to a room on the 40th floor. The views were incredible. The pool area was lovely and the rooftop bar was absolutely amazing. Even if you're not staying here you should go up to that bar! Compared to prices in North America you're getting a lot here. Obviously the food and drink prices reflect that it's a nicer place to stay but if you're splurging while also on a budget like us there are some delicious and cheap noodle restaurants just down the street. We loved this place.

I stayed in a Junior suite, after they upgraded me from a sea view room - after I complained about construction. Kiss on one side of the complex.
The room was great. Located at the front.
The Seaview rooms are ok, but the view is angled - as you can see from the hotels pics. They're ok though.
The breakfast is good.
There are a lot of loud Chinese tourist, but most disappear (where??) on tours all day - so not a real big deal.
At night they do a buffet dinner outside, where hoards of other Chinese tourist roll up, smash food and dissappear again.
It's really weird, I didn't venture anywhere near the dinner buffet!
Outside hotel dining options are limited. The Novotel next door is good. I'd look at staying there too.
The beach is ok - rubbish from BKK can wash assure, but Thailand needs to "grow up" before that problem is solved.
I'd go back, if I wanted to visit Pattaya again, but I probably won't go back.

Good Budget Hotel that could do with a revamp and making it a little brighter and more modern. The location is not really for those who wish to be closer to the action or just generally closer to tourist attractions, the beach or down town. Breakfasts could be made more special and the internet facilites could be updated and made more pleasant. The bathrooms could also be mordernised to add to a brighter and nicer experience.
