"Great location, very comfortable"
As other people said (and the staff reminded me,) this is not a hotel, it's an apartment building, so don't expect a great customer service. Examples: I was scheduled to get to São Paulo at 6am and asked them weeks in advance if there was a way I could do an early check-in, but was told that I couldn't check in even an hour earlier without paying an extra day (and reminded they are not a hotel once more.) Also, I got there without an electrical outlet adapter, then asked if they had one I could borrow, but was just told "no," so I had to figure out a place to buy one the next day. That being said, when I had an issue with the internet, they were very fast to give me new instructions. If you're planning to stay there, I suggest you download the Whatsapp app, which is hugely popular in Brazil, so you can communicate with management via text.
The apartment looks very modern and is very comfortable, the location is incredible, right behind Largo da Batata, one of the locations where they were celebrating carnival. One day, as I walked back I was happily surprised by a bloco dancing right in front of the building. There are plenty of interesting restaurants and sightseeing locations nearby; some you can walk to, others you can Uber to for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this place.
