Everything was at a comfortable standard. Only issue is that $15 for wifi is insane. Although it is clear that this is the case, many places have a higher speed internet that can b paid for and a slower wifi available to just check email etc - similar to the free one you get in public places.
Considering this is so close to St George's Terrace, providing a free basic wifi is more likely to make me stay there again.

Pocket Guide: Perth Perth Central Business District Hotels
The country's fourth largest city and booming capital of Western Australia is sprawling, but downtown Perth proper is bounded by the Swan River and the Graham Farmer Freeway and easily covered on foot. Museums, galleries, shopping malls, and pedestrian precincts characterise the CBD, while parkland wanders along the riverfront. The downtown area also encompasses East Perth, a former industrial zone now converted to residential streets, and Northbridge, a restaurant and nightlife hotspot that is also home to Perth's Cultural Centre.
