We stayed here for 7 nights in a premium room with 1 king bed.The room and bed were very comfortable and a nice layout. The staff were very helpful and the room very clean.
The free cat bus stops are close to the hotel also.It is only a short walk to the central bus and train stations, but you can catch the free yellow cat bus that comes along frequently if you prefer not to walk.
I would stay here again if I return to Perth.

"Ok hotel for an overnighter - close to restaurants"
We just needed somewhere to overnight so as not to have to drive at night. There were 4 of us - 3 adults and 1 child. This hotel was well priced, adequate for our needs while being close to the beach and restaurants. I would stay again, and would recommend to friends.

Hotel staff could not be better. Room was adequate with the only alteration could b a paint job. Very clean with an excellent free breakfast - one of the better ones by far.
Location excellent. Could easily walk everywhere though the free, frequent transport Perth offers is unbelievably wonderful. Even bus drivers so pleasant and helpful.. Always told us where to get off. Even passengers thanked the drivers.
Perth is so clean and lovely.
If you want a glitzy hotel Ambassador is not for you. If you want comfort and to feel good Ambassador is for you.

Spent 4 nights here and found the hotel perfectly pleasant however it could do with some updating. The location is superb practically right on the beach so the evening sunset views were amazing. Cable Beach itself is wonderful stretching for kilometres along pristine coastline. This is a family place and many tour groups stop here on their Kimberly adventures so it is pretty busy. Food was disappointing in all outlets but the staff were friendly and helpful and this made up for it. Actually the natural beauty of Cable Beach is all you need and a glass of WA wine! Take a trip to Cape Leveque...this was an absolute highlight and make sure you fly with King Leopold Air for the best aerial views of the spectacular coastline...it's one of the best things I've ever done!
Spa was lovely too, had a great massage.
