This hotel couldn't be in a better spot. It's in the square opposite barcelona cathedral which means it's beside everything. The staff are Fantastic. So helpful. We stayed on the 1st floor which is newly renovated. It was gorgeous. The room was decorated to a very high standard and had everything in it tippy could need *bar and iron).
The spa on the 7th floor is fabulous. An outdoor jacuzzi on the roof facing the cathedral. Breathtaking. Great steam room and sauna.
One particular staff member went out of his way to be helpful but unfortunately we didn't get his name. If you ask for directions or restaurant advice he phones for you, reserves for you, directs you and tells you ensuring is really close (2 days away). Sorry we didn't his name. He was great!@

A wonderful hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Barcelona. Buses to and from the airport are located in front of the hotel. Could not fault this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Amazing location, lovely downstairs public spaces. Great bathroom and very good sized bedrooms. Robe and slippers nice touch. Free bikes a bonus if I wasn't there on business.
Bedrooms could do with some tlc (the only hotel tv I know that only has 6 channels, and those were poor signal!) and the noise from outside bedroom window was pretty constant all night, leading to a bad night's sleep when it shouldn't have been (comfy bed). Bad as I discussed with reception the following morning, that's the price you pay for a great location off the Rambla.

We arrived at 10am and our room was ready, which was great considering that check in was not until 2pm. The check in staff were very helpful. We had a standard room ramblas view which was quite basic and a bit dated, however it was spotlessly clean as were the towels and bedding. If you're looking for a luxury stay then don't stay here, however if you are looking for a clean good value room in the middle of the Ramblas district then do.

Lovely hotel, good location to all attractions but the downside was very noisy at night with the chime of the clock every hour at the cathedral and workmen at the sister hotel collecting rubble at gone 11pm, staff very helpful but would recommend it to people

Excellent location adjacent to Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas. Room was very comfortable, with modern bathroom and large window with French balcony. Service is prompt and congenial. The included breakfast is ordered from a menu, but there are many choices and you can eat as much as you like. Taxi stand next to the hotel was convenient, and rides cost about half of what you would pay elsewhere, so you can skip the bus or subway. The only drawback is the incessant noise from the Placa Reial until the early morning hours. However, the windows block out nearly all of the noise. Unlike some other hotels in the area, there are no musty odors or perfume smells, either in the hallways or room. There are only a small number of rooms, so the hotel never feels crowded, though guests coming back from celebrating late at night can be unruly. Otherwise, the stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.
