I knew it was an awesome placed the moment I walked in the door. We stayed there for the Metallica concert...when we walked in the lobby had a big digital wall with a band picture saying: "welcome Metallica fans"

We visited the city for a concert at US Bank Stadium. Great location! Hotel and staff were fantastic. The downtown area is under construction so it is a nightmare to walk (especially in bad weather). Once that is completed, hoping downtown Minneapolis returns to the shopping/restaurant/tourist city it once was. Close location to Target Field or USBS.

This hotel was above and beyond our expectations. We were very satisfied with the service and location. It is a little farther walk to downtown than a few of the other places, but it worked out great for us and we were very pleased with the staff and the stay.

Only downside - two of the three elevators working so waiting more than usual for use of elevator and it seems like the furnishings are beginning to age and need upgrades.
The pull out couch bed was needed for our stay and the cover in the mattress had stains that were sketchy - I think it was clean but should be thrown away.

Got a good rate for a Friday night and everything was pleasant and nice. Especially liked the large rain shower head. Only complaint is the valet parking was $45/night, and had to wait 30mins for car to be brought up after calling.
