It's a relatively expensive stay which we expected more luxurious facilities. Hotel staff offered great and warm service. Need to walk a bit to search for a restaurant other than the ones inside the hotel. Someone shouted at and being impolite to us outside the entrance on our way back to the hotel at night which scared us. Discrimination is quite serious in Christchurch.

Older hotel full of grandeur. Our suite had 2 levels to it with a kitchen and washing machine/ tumble dryer. Christchurch is a very safe feeling city and everything is in walkable distance. Only issue was the safe didn't work but we felt so safe it wasn't an issue

Having been disappointed with all previous accommodation on our tour of South Island, this came as a surprise and delight. All our needs were catered for.All questions were answered obligingly.
The whole of the motel was freshly painted, bright ,clean and tidy.
Would recommend it unreservedly.
