"Nice hotel close to everything in Asakusa"
The hotel overall is clean and good. Excellent smiling staff. Good location and close to the train stations, shopping area and Asakusa temple. Room itself was fairly good. Nothing to complaint with the price.

"Very Good Hotel in Central Location"
As everywhere in Tokyo, hotel rooms are small, but the rooms here are well decorated, clean and well equipped (including fridge, coffee/tea-making facilities and comprehensive toiletries), also humidifier, controllable air conditioning, wifi, wlan. A big plus for me - you can open the window to let in fresh air! Good mattress. Huge TV screen (too large for the room IMO) and you have to pay for watching anything at all, but I didn't come to Tokyo to watch TV, so I didn't care. Breakfast: lots of good Japanese food plus everything to make a fresh salad; the European foods (croissants, canned clementine segments, sweet, very fatty toast and sweet yoghurt) could be healthier and more natural for me (I'd have loved some wholegrain bread and cereal), but I just had salad instead. Excellent access to Narita Airport (the end station for the Keisei Skyliner is just across the street; it's the Keisei-Ueno Station, not to be confused with the much larger Ueno Station, which is a further 6 minutes on foot ). In walking distance from several nice places - Ueno Park with many museums and monuments, Asakusa with temples, amusement park and shopping (traditional crafts and modern stuff), Yanaka Ginza, a lovely quaint traditional neighbourhood and so forth. From the Ueno Station access to everything else - very good location altogether. The daily housekeeping did not seem to include cleaning the bathroom; I could have done without new towels every day (for environmental reasons).

"2nd time at APA in tokyo different location"
Not my first time staying at a APA Hotel. My previous APA hotel stay in Tokyo last year was in Asakusabashi. So I wanted to stay with APA Hotels again this time. Before I had a room by myself, and this time I got a double bed room with my girlfriend, and I at this different APA Location. This APA Hotel locations English ability wasn't so good. But thankfully my girlfriend is originally from Japan so it was not a problem for her speaking Japanese haha. Was able to get two room keys easily too. Our double bed room had an amazing view of the sky tree I was pleased! The bed, and pillows seemed to be much more soft than the Asakusabashi APA Hotel too. Room was really small though I had to put my luggage in front of the bed below TV, and my girlfriend had to leave her luggage out in the floor near the walkway to the door. But it's not a problem after the first day once you figure out how to get around haha. Always loved the amenities included, the warm showers at night, and morning were amazing too. Had a lot of TV channels as well! Last APA hotel location only had 4 or 5 channels. This location has many! I stayed for two weeks, and was very pleased with the location! Easily accessible to asakusa shrine, many stations nearby, and 711 is across the street from hotel. Highly recommend for solo travelers, and if you're a couple it's possible to make work if you can accept small space but still nice living :).

"Nice hotel close the ueno metro station"
The hotel is close to the ueno metro station. The location is perfect. The room is a little bit small but it is equipped with everything that you would need. It also got hair straightener and a facial steamer in the room. It's great for female travelers.

"quiet hotel location"
hotel located at a quiet area of ueno. though map looks to be near ueno station and even further from keisei station, it is quite a walking distance (especially after you are tired walking all day). Otherwise, room is small (like any other hotel rooms in japan) and clean.

"Well located in Asakusa"
Business trip so was in and out of this hotel regularly. Walking distance but not steps away from subway lines. Very close to the Asakusa Kannon temple which is a must see for those not familiar with Tokyo. Breakfast was fine for Japanese breakfast. Some western food along with the Japanese style breakfast. Everything is close by that you might want including a McDonalds.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is about a 3 minute walk to the train station. The hotel room was very small, but not too small. The air conditioner worked really well. We like the "white noise" and it also kept us cool while we slept. The maid service was really great, they rearranged our stuff in the bathroom a little bit, to help maximize space. The hair dryer worked really well, too. The convenience store downstairs was great. We got breakfast there every morning. I didn't find the area surrounding the hotel to be very loud. We were on the 7th floor, and even with the window open there wasn't too much noise. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Taito is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Taito, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Taito hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
