"Nice hotel, within walking distance of attractions"
I really liked the hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had a nice atmosphere, very welcoming! The hotel upgraded our room, that was a nice guesture but it didn't work for me because we were upgraded from a twin room to a double. I was staying with a family member so didn't want a double. The room mix up cause a delay but this didn't affect the enjoyment of our holiday and the hotel.

The very friendly and efficient reception personnel gave me an indication that I will have a pleasant stay there. the large and well appointed room confirmed this. I walked to all museums and shopping and couldn't think of a better location.
I recommended this hotel.

Great hotel. We prepaid through Expedia so check in took less than 2 minutes. The room was very spacious for one of their more economical rooms (1 king standard room). The room was modern and very clean (it is a newer hotel or had been completely redone). We also had the buffet breakfast which was very good with great service. The food selection had all of the essentials but was not too extensive. The staff was very friendly. Our experience was great and I would recommend the hotel. The one downside is that it is a 15 minute walk to the closest Metro stop. Although considering that a 15 minute walk in the other direction gets you to all of the main sites in St. Pete this isn't really a complaint but should be noted.

This hotel is in a good location only 10 minutes walk to Nevsky Prospekt the main street and 15 minutes to the Hermitage. Hotel staff were helpful, friendly and spoke english and sorted out any issues quickly - safe was broken in room and didnt replenish soap on daily basis. Room was very clean.
St Petersburg is easy to walk around and get to the main sights. If you want to do a boat trip up the Neva or canal trip they have certain times for the English commentary so check times otherwise will be in Russian and you can make up your own commentary like we did which was a laugh. Peterhof, the Hermitage and Church of Spilled Blood are a must. Worth going into the Church of Spilled Blood as havent seen anything like it before. Also worth getting to the Hermitage early say about 945am opens at 1030 as queues are horrendous.
