Location is great, service is very good and helpful, hotel corridor design is a bit funny, but bearable, TV sets need to be replaced if they want to have a true 5-star rating, we had a room with a shower, but no bathroom, breakfast is excellent.
Contemporary boutique hotel hidden behind a classical facade, situated within the Garden Ring, 1 kilometre from Red Square.More
Service is great. Room service is fast and efficient. It needs more entertainment like a workout area or a spa. If there was, i didnt see it or they didnt let me know.
Its steps away from red square, shopping areas and restaurants.

The location is perfect; just above the beach and promenade, a short walk to the harbor and main shopping areas, and adjacent to a park and museum. The hotel is upscale in the lobby and common areas. The room was a bit worn but comfortable. The breakfast buffet was spectacular in its variety and quality plus they had a piano player and old Charlie Chaplin movie going. Staff was friendly and English speaking.

I visited for a long holiday wekend, intending to see the town and the Olympic sites further to the south. The hotel is very well run, the staff were very helpful (good English skills), the room was comfortable (interesting dual shower system), they serve a huge breakfast, but above all the location is excellent. The beach/port is right alongside, the train station and all "downtown" areas are easily walkable (which is not true of other hotels on the "coastal strip" further to the south). The Mercure is the "budget" arm of the Pullman hotel which adjoins it -- but the differences are actually not that great, plus, you can access the Pullman facilities, such as restaurant, gym and business center.
BTW, I found it difficult to complete this review below because your program kept rejecting my text after a couple of lines --- see below. Pity, because there was a lot more to say ! You need to fix this !

I stayed at the Pullman Sochi hotel for five nights as part of a two week trip to Sochi, staying at several 5* hotels in Adler, Krasnaya Polyana and Central Sochi. I have to say, Pullman surprised me the most as far as value for your stay goes. Everything from the breakfast buffet to service quality and room design was excellent. I stayed in a deluxe suite with panoramic views, which were simply breathtaking. My only concerns were a slightly leaky shower, and average in room dining selection and quality. Beach access is uncomfortable, but this is the case with all nearby hotels as well. For much better access and a better beach in general head down to Radisson Paradise near the Olympic Park. This particular beachfront area is older and not as scenic, and the boardwalk is very tourist - trappy. When looking for places to eat go to Syndicate steakhouse across the street, or a block down to the Marina.
