The hotel was good but dated. The location was near rail station and about 3-4 block from bus stop. Staff very attentive and welcoming. Our room on 6th floor had a lot of street noise. Needed new windows, would not close tightly. Over all it was a good stay but was very expensive. We'll probably not stay there again.

very close to good restaurants, just a a short walk. easy to pick up buses and taxis to all the big attractions. Staff super friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Rooms very comfortable. Only downside for us was design of the bathroom with a shower that was awkward to operate and ended up drowning the bathroom whoever it was used. One of those nasty overhead showers which have have to be underneath to figure out how to turn on the handset rather than the overhead. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back!

Hotel was very nice, really modern with lots on site to do. It was a long walk or a short bus/taxi journey to the city centre. Having a swimming pool on site, as well as a restaurant, bar and Starbucks are all great bonuses. The staff at reception were extremely friendly.

Beautiful hotel that was just across the street from the train station. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the room is amazing. Great view, amazing bed and the shower/bath was wonderful. Best nights sleep I've had in ages, and the food was lovely as well. Also, what could be better than being treated by your own dram of whiskey? Loved this hotel!

This was our 9th stay at Dalmahoy and it hasn't disappointed us once. Even since being taken over from Marriott, it is still as friendly, clean and comfortable as ever. Lovely to see lots of familiar faces still, so the staff must like it too. Very child friendly and they especially enjoy the swimming pool which was lovely and warm. It's a bit of a rabbit warren with small corridors in the old house, then long corridors in the newer section, but you soon get used to that. We had a 'twin' room (2 double beds) and it is just a bit small for 4, but still comfortable and has a HUGE telly! Thanks Dalmahoy, we will be back once again!

Great place. Good view as well. Short walk from the train station even with luggage. Wish we stayed longer. If I had to find a fault then the dryer didn't work the best but that is really stretching it.
