Having not stayed at Novotel before, we were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful with our questions. I was concerned that the location, albeit ideally placed for us between the airport and Edinburgh city, might be a bit busy and noisy. However we heard no noise either from the aeroplanes or from local traffic. It was in fact one of the quietest hotels we have stayed in. Excellent all round, if we go back to Edinburgh for a visit then the Novotel is where we will stay.

"Grate location, staff very helpful and professiona"
Grate location you can walk to most of the attractions easily. Grate restaurants around. The only reservation is the food at the hotel is not good at all. Not many choice either for adult or children. Above all non of the dishes on the menu has fresh vegetable or salad. You can't even get vegetable with a a special order except at breakfast. The swimming pool is extremely small.
Other hotel facilities are grate!!

Nice trip good price. Lovely staff. Got moved to room as the second bed was old and could feel the springs but staff didn't hesitate to move us which was lovely of them. Breakfast was great and room service was efficient. Would like to come back for a longer stay to provide time to use the sauna as time was short on this stay. Thank you.
