We were a party of 10 who had booked four rooms for a two day break. Hotel reception area is very pleasant and staff were very friendly and courteous. The bedrooms are in a separate block and the rooms are very tired and in need of updating. For instance different length curtains on windows and chairs and carpets worn. Beds and pillows very comfortable but a really heavy tog quilt in middle of July was completely unnecessary.

The hotel is perfectly located, it is just off the main road so it is not too noisy but at the same time is central. My friend and I enjoyed using the sight seeing bus with a stop opposite the hotel, it was perfect. The bedrooms were very comfortable and very spacious with a sofa as well as a bed - very nice to relax in a 'lounge area of the room' The only criticism of the bedroom room is that the toilet is separate from the bathroom and there was not even a sink in the room with the toilet. The swimming pool which is in the basement of the hotel was an ideal size, with a Jacuzzi being an added bonus!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 days and managed to get a space in the on site car park - which was very convenient. The rooms were of a good size, clean and very comfortable. On arrival we were offered a discounted rate of £10 a head per day for breakfast which we accepted. Breakfast was good but not brilliant.
Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and would definitely consider booking again if we return to Glasgow

The room was large enough with a king size bed, but we had reservations for 3 adults. After a bit of back and forth with the very friendly front desk and housekeeping staff, a twin size cot was procured along with extra towels. The 11th floor views of the River Clyde and pedestrian footbridge were very nice. The room was quiet and the shades helped quite a bit with the very early sunrise.
We took our chances finding breakfast outside the hotel and only had trouble on Sunday morning when very few places were open early enough for us to meet our tour. Best breakfast nearby was Bill's. The hotel bar beer and spirits selection is limited and generic; walk 300' up to McSorley's for some Real Ale, good whisky selection and live music.
It is only a few blocks to the train station, which is why we picked it, and there is plenty of shopping on Argyle, Buchanan St. and W. Nile St.
