This gorgeous hotel is across the street from the train station and located in the heart of Edinburgh. Rooms were spacious and clean and we loved that snacks and drinks in the room were included. Staff were so friendly and very helpful. Street noise was negligible considering the incredible location. Would absolutely stay here again!!

We were welcomed by the front desk with big smiles and Champaign. The location of this hotel is stellar, perfectly central to everything including the Waverly train station and very safe. I traveled with my daughter and we confidently explored the area after dark. It was a very short walk to all attractions, we didn’t uber once. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable, bar and restaurant lively and energetic. I couldn’t be more please with our choice to stay there.

room was not large but efficient. refrigerator did not work, had to get buckets of ice nightly. did not partake in the dining options. The location was great! across the street from the waverley station, cut through to go to new town. Right next to flesh market close a short cut up to the mile, very close to the scotsman steps and north bridge st. transportation easy to navigate, lots of food options all around, shopping everywhere. refrigerator was stocked daily with waters, lemonade, gin and tonics, beers, milk, coffees, teas, chips, and cookies. That was awesome. front desk printed out emailed tickets, no problem. great stay!

Very clean room. The Cozy Room when you enter has a very spacious foyer of the room where you may drop your luggage. The room itself was small and had a slender ceiling to floor window which faced neighboring building’s windows. For peace of mind and security there is a door/shutter to close. Keep that in mind if you are reserving that particular room.

Our room was very well soundproofed from the road and other rooms. The bed was so comfortable. Surprise extra goodies in the room were appreciated. Delicious breakfast. Great location, walkable to so many things. I highly recommend Market Street Hotel.

Excellent boutique hotel central to city for easy access. All staff were excellent and could not be faulted. Breakfast option far superior to your standard hotel buffets and the champagne added that extra special touch. Complimentary mini bar and snacks not you standard fare either and replenished daily. As a now resident on the East Coast this will be our go to for the regular overnights we need for the city essentials and shopping trips!

This boutique hotel is 5* all the way. Staff is exceptional - friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with a choice off the menu as well as a lovely assortment of choices from the buffet. The room was lovely and roomy. Bed was very comfortable. Nice complementary treats and non alcoholic drinks stocked daily in the room. Very convenient location as we walked from train station across the street upon arrival and picked up our rental car there upon departure. During our 2 day stay, we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. Lots of good restaurants nearby,
