A terrific three-day break in a wonderful room. The hotel is classic but has some quirks. My personal favourite was having breakfast and coffee in the inner courtyard under the Magnolia trees. A little sun trap. Staff are long-term employees and you can see they have a connection to the hotel... It was the first Five-star Hotel in Brussels and remains somewhere to relax and enjoy your time in Brussels.

Very small hotel in a re-purposed residential building. The single room was very small and had no desk, though I could use the window sill as a desk replacement. There is a small CRT TV and a minibar which I did not use. The bathroom was decent and there was a hair dryer. Breakfast is at a large table in the lounge downstairs. The selection was decent though there was no fruit.

Faultless from start to finish!
Staff was always polite and helpful.
Room was clean, Hermes bath products were a lovely bonus. The bed was incredibly comfortable- One of the best we've slept in!
No noise ever heard from outside hall or nearby rooms during the night. We did specify we wanted a quiet room, perhaps this helped? Very much appreciated for us "light sleepers"!
Breakfast was great, 28 Euro per person - eggs, fresh fruit, juices, meats, cheeses, variety of breads and more. Service at breakfast was excellent, too.
Lovely farmers market outside hotel on Sundays. Hotel is also adjacent to a lovely park and plenty of great restaurants.
Would definitely recommend and if returning to Brussels would absolutely stay here again.

Home to most of the institutions of the European Union, the European Quarter’s gleaming glass and steel buildings add an air of sleek modernity to the affluent suburbs east of the Palais Royal. The main landmarks are the EU Council and Berlaymont buildings, and the European Parliament. The stately Cinquantenaire and Léopold parks contain several museums. Square Ambiorix is home to the fine Art Nouveau building, Maison St-Cyr.
