I love this hotel and I stay here every time I'm in Manila. The hotel staff is very friendly and always ready to answer my questions and needs. The rooms and facilities are clean.
My only problems are the laundry situation and the unofficial "wake-up" calls. I gave my laundry to housekeeping at about 11pm on Sunday night and they told me it would be ready the next day (Monday). About midnight they called me and told me the laundry would not be ready until Wednesday. Taking three days to get the laundry back to me seemed a little inefficient so I had to cancel my laundry.
Also, at 9am every day one of the staff goes around and knocks on the doors. I don't know what the reason is but it woke me up every morning and I was not too happy about that.
Overall it is a very good hotel and I will continue to stay here.

This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, but in my opinion the restaurant does not deserve 5 stars. They have a breakfast buffet that is included with the room. Since it is essentially free, i guess I can't complain about it too much. But if you choose to pay for the restaurant for lunch or dinner you might be disappointed. Since it is a buffet, the food is prepared ahead of time and they do a poor job of keeping the food hot. When I am going to pay 5900 PHP or $130 for a meal for 2 in a third world country where the US dollar should stretch very far, then I expect that meal to be excellent. It was not by any means excellent. Almost everything was cold or luke warm. No one likes cold roast beef or cold shrimp tempura or any of the other cold choices that were available. And to top it off they charged me 156 PHP for a coke zero. That's $3.46 for a glass of coke. I didn't even get the whole can. And just to put it in perspective, a can of coke zero costs about 30 PHP at the corner 7 eleven or the supermarket. I excpect hotel prices to be higher than the grocery store, but over 5 times the cost is just taking advantage of your customers.

High standard hotel with good staff.
Room was quiet.
Neighborhood is limited, though one of the many Robinson malls is a few blocks away.
LiLi's Restaurant (Chinese), within the hotel, is always great.

Anything you can think of from start (checking in) to end (checking out) was amazing. If I head back to manila, definitely wouldn't have to search for another hotel, I'd pick this one again. 5 star hotel all the way.

I stayed at this hotel for a week, I had a inside room with the fish tank. The room it self was small clean and had everything you needed and expected from a 4 star hotel. My only criticism is the room is to dark for when your trying to get ready especially in front of bathroom mirror. The swimming pool was a big disappointment and to far from the hotel and full of children and was overlooked by part of the Theme Park. The area outside the hotel was full of homeless people even tho I found it safe to walk out there can be a bit intimidating and wouldn't recommend walking alone outside the hotel. If your looking for somewhere to stay just for a few nights with children I'd highly recommend this hotel. If you want somewhere quiet to relax around a pool this is not the hotel for you.

I had doubts at first since I really haven't booked any hotels in Malate but I'm glad I followed my instinct :) It's a small and simple hotel but you'll be surprised how big their rooms and bathrooms. For a family of 5 (3 small kids) I can say that we slept comfortably in their 2 full beds with a wide space to walk around. It was clean and the hotel staff are very helpful and courteous in assisting us with all our needs. Two thumbs up for our Overall stay!! Now, we have a new affordable place to stay every time we travel to Manila :)

One of the main tourist districts of Manila, Ermita is the site of many government buildings, including the American Embassy. The aquarium at Manila Ocean Park on the Manila Bay waterfront is a great place to take the kids. Rizal Park bills itself as the largest urban park in Asia and features historical monuments, well-tended gardens, and playgrounds.
