"Belmont Pasay"
The staff are pleasant and very helpful. The buffet breakfast is amazing--both continental and Filipino breakfasts are available and are very delicious. The room smelled a little of mildew. The fitness facility is very good. But, there is no filtered water available to refill your bottles in the hotel, except at the buffet breakfast. I would recommend that they have a filtered water station so that guests can refill their water bottles. I chose this hotel because it was a the mid-point between expensive (i.,e Marriott) and low cost options that had bad reviews. I think the prices fit well the relative quality.

"Great 3 nights stay "
The hotel is on a great location , amazing bar view, good spa and gym. Rooms were big, but the beds made noise, and I didn't get hot water the first day. Sometimes when you call for 0 assistance they do not answer. didn't matter much to me, as they answer on another try. Val, and Laarri provided me great assistance on finding taxis and good locations to visit. They were very friendly and helpful. I believe that was a great service provided by the hotel.

"This is 100% about the location"
This is the best hotel inside the old walled city with views of the cannons and the cathedral from the rooftop bar. The rooms are dated and dinged, but nice enough. The downside is that it is student run and you might have to wait 15 min for a breakfast coffee and they sometimes close off key parts of the hotel (roof / restaurants) for events and as you are inside intramuros, there are not a lot of other options. Think of it as going to a destination pool resort and they decided to regularly close the pool for private events. It also stays on the "Philippine" side of accommodation, as opposed to complying with what I would consider international standards. Example - I booked a private car with the hotel to take me to the airport and the hotel billed me 800 PHP, but then the driver dumped us off half way telling us he was not permitted to go to the airport and we would need to find a taxi to go the rest of the way. Hotel's response: nothing.

"Excellent boutique hotel! The best in Makati!"
Raffles Makati is a boutique hotel featuring 32 suites and is connected / part of the Fairmont Makati property. The staff and service at this hotel is exceptionally good! Everyone from the butlers, to the front desk staff, to hosts in the Writers Bar, always greet you with a friendly smile and address you by name. The hostesses at the Writers Bar remembered my tea and beverage preferences and were quick to offer me a cup of Earl Grey tea in the morning or a glass of Spicy Mango Chelada or Calamansi Lemonade in the evening. I was here on business and the staff truly made me feel at home. The Junior Suite I stayed in was tastefully styled with a touch of old-world classic charm with a modern touch. The room was laid out in such a way that it was easy to use the dining area and living room as a work / small meeting space as it was separated from the bedroom. Internet connectivity was top-notch and it was easy to connect remotely to my office. I normally stay at another top-tier hotel very nearby but that particular property is a little old and has undergone some stingy cost-cutting measures by current management which has definitely detracted from its appeal which is why I decided to try Raffles. The difference is night and day. Usually when I travel for work I can't wait to leave and go home. But with such excellent staff at such a great, newer property, I was actually a little sad to leave Raffles.

Manila is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Manila, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Manila hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
