First, I got my room with parking included, fabulous as it cost around 38 Canadian dollars per day otherwise.
The room is large enough for 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant.
The pool was clean but the facilities look pretty old, the tile, the washrooms.

Like the location next to great restaurants like Black and Blue and Coast. BIG ISSUE however is their bizarre closure of the escalator to the lobby ( two very steep four story rides) and their simultaneous closure of the elevator to the lobby after 11 pm. Literally they want you you to walk a four story shut down escalator as they shut down the elevators and escalators. Bizzare policy. Two people whom just arrived from Toronto ( seniors no less) after flying all night had to call someone, wait and someone finally let them up the elevator after the security guy below said 'that is our policy'. Strange happened twice now and twice when I stayedbhear the escalator was shut down as well as the elevators.

I have stayed at this property several times over many years and have always enjoyed my stays. I did notice that last night there was a lot of walking around creaks from the room above mine which I never had happen previously, which would be due to the age of the hotel as well as room location. The cheery lady in the breakfast room is always a pleasant start to my day- the food and cleanliness of the room is excellent.
