"One of the better hotels in the area"
The room was comfortable with the usual items. Like most, the coffee is average and condiments for the coffee limited to two servings even though the amount of coffee was for four. There were no lids for the coffee to go.Breakfast was included in the price but pretty basic. Parking is a bit tight if you have a large truck and if you have a trailer you should check to see where you can park it before booking a room. Internet was spotty and only acceptable for bask browsing.

"Average hotel close to harbour "
This hotel is not the Ritz. It is clean, old, comfy enough for the price of the stay. The staff are kind and welcoming. The pool is nice. Nothing to write home about. But, who stays in their room much during a vacation anyways? A clean place to pay your head at night, for a decent price. Close to Tim hortons. Yahoo

"Nice, comfortable stay and very friendly staff"
My family and I needed a place to stay for 2 nights so we booked this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly which made our stay all that much better. The beds were ultra comfortable and all our rooms were very clean. Their breakfast plan was simple but generous. We were delightfully surprised that they had boiled eggs, orange juice, various cereals, waffle, some fruits, various breads and baked goods, plus coffee and tea. Compared to another hotel we had stayed in, I'd say that their continental breakfast plan was a lot better! Also, if you need extra toiletries (i.e. razors, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.) you can ask for them at the front desk. Mind you, they already provide shampoo and soap in the room. Another great thing about this hotel is that you get a decent-sized fridge plus a microwave and a coffee maker. White Spot restaurant and a gas station (plus a convenience store) are right next to this hotel. But if you want to go to a supermarket, a shopping centre, or other restaurants, you will need to drive for about 5-10 minutes. There is a gorgeous view of the harbour and a lovely walkway nearby (5 minute walking distance). Over all, I am very happy with my stay here.

"Worth it!"
This was a last minute decision and choice to vacation on Vancouver Island. It was also our first time. My wife initially selected a hotel in the downtown Nanaimo area but as soon as I saw the Beach Club pictures I was hooked. Our suite was very pricey but we went with it anyway. Our unit was on the ground floor at the corner. The view of the beach was breathtaking...if we ever go back, I want unit 110 again. One pet peeve was not enough underground parking for the building...the overflow was a dirt and gravel lot off to the side...overall..very, very pleased!!

Close to ferry terminal. Nice motel, but my room didn't have air conditioning. I wish they had window blinds so I can open the windows without getting heat from the sun plus privacy. They only had heavy material curtains.

Nanaimo is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Nanaimo, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Nanaimo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
