We had a great time in Houston. We went for our anniversary and the Magnolia was part of the treat. The bathtub was gigantic! The bed and sheets were wonderful with prime TV channels. The hotel is in a great location and the concierge service will take you in a one mile radius. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful!

Right cross from marina, a number of restaurants nearby, very convenient. Staff are very friendly and willing to help, we had a group of two families, booked three rooms for two nights, 10th floor, great view. Room sound insulation is not as good as expected, and air conditioning are old and loud, other than that, everything is excellent, free breakfast is a plus, same us a lot time. Definitely will return.

We stayed 2 nights and had a pleasant stay. Room was clean, bathroom was spacious, shower was very nice. Beds were comfortable. They could improve on the amount of lighting in the room as it was rather dark near the beds.
Ate 2 meals while we were there and the food was very tasty! The Galveston chopped salad was excellent! Pool area is above average and a relaxing place to spend a few hours. Really liked all the options for seating near the pool. Beach is right across the street. Did not know we had to pay $10/day to park in the hotel lot.

Room not ready. To high price for size of room. Child friendly. Cater to families. Led to believe 2 adults and 3 small children could stay in one room. Way to small. One of the smallest bathrooms of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything very expensive.

Very well appointed room. Bed luxurious with soft sheets and good support. Shower very well designed modern comfort. Air conditioning vented directly to bed with responsive thermostat. Excellent.
Friendly, quick and professional staff. Good location, with ascetic appeal all around.
Improvements should include better television selection (abc, cbs, nbc, telemundo, 4 sports, cnn, & WE)[spread over 1-24 with static between]
Would request a room that is not next to the maid service room(Very loud twice a day)
Wouldn't pay extra for ocean view as this historical hotel has no balcony.
Enjoyed stay thoroughly.
