We spent the night before Thanksgiving here for the second year in a row. The staff was very gracious--amazing considering the holiday and the mass of parade participants. There were several school bands staying in the hotel. The young people were for the most part courteous and well behaved. As a former high school teacher I was impressed! The location is great and the beds comfortable. We will return next Thanksgiving for sure.

Hotel grounds are beautiful with great restaurants within waking distance. Room seemed perfect but we found used creamer cups around the bed and no cream or sugar for our coffee. waitstaff took long in getting us drinks or even coming back to check up on us. Seemed like we were always busy trying to get them to notice us and take our order.

We reserved an ocean front room, and they put us in the worst one in the hotel. Lowest possible floor and the only one that didn't have a window on the side. The woman at the desk said they didn't have any others available. And there isn't any way to argue about that. None of the front desk staff were overly friendly. The only other complaint is that because the room was so low, we had a great deal of traffic noise. (The main road runs right in front of the hotel.)
This is probably the nicest hotel in Corpus. It certainly has a great location. The rooms are spacious. The cleaning staff does a good job keeping the rooms and hotel clean.
