The room was decent. For the price paid one would expect to see slight improvements to stuff like bathroom fittings, carpets (lots of stains) and air conditioning. The curtains , while the dark-out kind, don't overlap in the middle so you'll get a bright line of (rising) sun in the morning. The price levied for parking a vehicle was too steep. Other than that, it was a place to stay and I did obtain restful night's sleep there.

I was in town for the marathon. Building is old, AC doesn't work well, noise from neighboring rooms can be heard, no pool or jacuzzi for fitness. Still, it is an icon and I will stay there again. Volt Restaurant in the hotel is very nice and comfortable, good food and service, reasonable prices. Happy Hour on the 72nd flr is worth noting.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The carpet in the room was stained and looked dirty and the tiny tub looked in need of being replaced as it had a rusted rough damaged area on the bottom of it. Very limited cable and paid TV was a ridiculous price.

Stayed for one night only. Comfortable bed, clean room. Big enough bathroom. The shower felt odd under your feet and many smudges on the wallpaper in the bathroom but that was the worst part. Quiet. Friendly helpful staff
