Wonderful Stay

Beutifully restored reminder of an earlier era, a throwback in the most positive sense. Very large and well appointed room. The staff members, whether at the front desk, housekeeping, or working in the restaurant or at one of the bars, were impressively consistent in their friendliness and professionalism. And the location directly across from Union Station is terrific, especially for quick train service to and from Pearson Airport. We will be returning.

Check in was effortless thank you. Standard room was comfortable, as expected, however the bathroom had a wet towel under the sink that was there from the previous stay. The little corner cafe bakery attendant was so sweet, she was attentive and friendly plus the bakings were delicious. We attempted to access the middle lounge area to work quietly on our laptops (brighter lights more workable) only to be advised that it was for patrons only, (after just purchasing from the bakery). The concierge gent was fantastic, umbrella provided on my rainy day. A note on the windowsill about seasonal bugs that would be expected, but they looked like fruit flies hovering about it was a bit off putting. Otherwise very attentive staff and rooms as expected.

Great stay

Wifi was unlimited, the view was stellar. Location prime. Made me feel fancy. THERE WAS A BATHTUB!!! And a spot for your toiletries. Big win. I don’t like that the restaurants have a business casual dress code. 10/10 stay though.
