"Good Value, Excellent Staff, Good Service, View ++"
I got this suite at a significantly reduced rate using Expedia. The air conditioned room was equipped with a king sized bed, good bedding, a complete kitchenette (minus wares and cutlery), standard toilet and bath with excellent fittings, a large flat-screen TV and basic cable package, free wifi and a beautiful view (day or night) of the surrounding city. The desk staff was extremely accommodating and wouldl solve most customer issues promptly and cordially. The room came with in-room good quality coffee and a full-course complementary breakfast with good accommodation on the main floor. The breakfast service itself was excellent. I did not use parking but there was adequate parking. The hotel itself is located just north of the last subway station on Line 1, but is fully serviced by bus and taxi services as well. The fare to/from the Airport ranges from about 50 - 65 CAD. I was able to get around the city with the buses and the nearby Finch Subway Station. Malls and food services in the area are good and largely self-sufficient. The area is very safe to walk (day or night) and not yet cluttered with towering buildings. With all of the services of the hotel clearly above expectations, only the house-keeping seemed a notch below the average high standard. This seemed no fault of the courteous, helpful and friendly staff, but more possibly a management or training challenge. Overall, a very satisfactory and pleasant stay - above expectations in most cases.

Bordered to the south by the shores of Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a neighborhood east of downtown Toronto with a rich multicultural heritage—much of the city’s immigrant population settled in this area in the second half of the 20th century. Today, the neighborhood’s main attraction is the Toronto Zoo, one of Canada’s largest, which moved here in 1974.
