Paid $276CAD for a king suite. Even at $125 I would have given it 3 stars not higher. Checking in took 20 minutes with no lineup. Dude was totally uninterested. The room was tiny and it was not a one bedroom suite. It was a single room with a king bed plus a tiny alcove right beside the door for a tiny pull-out bed that no adult could comfortably sleep in. Carpets were dirty, there was dirt in the bathtub that didn't want to wash off, and a big stain on the bathroom floor. Fixtures were clean. Fridge worked And the King bed was comfortable. No sign of bed bugs. Basically the hotel is massively overpriced and really needs at least a deep cleaning and refresh or a total renovation. The reviews on Expedia are either fake or people who've never been to a nice hotel.

Good location, parking, near the main highway. Breakfast included but did not include eggs, hashbrown, or any meat. You had to pay “Egg-stra” for that. Breakfast included is not totally true, you get bread, butter, jam, creamcheese, fruit and cereal. Room was old, had a distinct odour, rooms were full of carpet, stained. Old hotel. No pool either. 2/3 star out of 5.

Comfortable but hidden fees

Friendly staff, comfortable beds but didnt have any emergency feminine products available for guests, had to improvise to go purchase some. Be warned though if booking through a website like hotels.com it will say pay by debit and say its all pay at property but the hotel will charge your card before arrival for a damage deposit and it must be a credit card, if its a debit card the deposit triples from 100$ to 300$

They advertise free breakfast but that is for “semi warm” oatmeal and stale toast. You need to pay $8 extra for some eggs which is ridiculous given the nightly rate. Then you also need to get breakfast coupons at the front desk if you do choose to have the limited breakfast. I know this because I asked the server simply for a bit of salt so I could rinse my mouth after some dental work. She told me I needed to get my coupon from the front desk before she would give me a salt packet.
