I like the general area as it is quite secluded. The room was adequate but very dark in my opinion. It could use some more lighting. I don’t like the stairs before you could get to the elevator. It defeats the purpose of the elevator since you have to take a flight of stairs before getting to one.

I enjoy staying here because it's in a very nice area of Toronto. I was able to take the subway and bus right to the hotel entrance. I feel much safer staying away from the downtown core. Having a restaurant onsite is a big plus. Also the indoor and outdoor pools add to the enjoyment of staying here.

The location was ideal for getting to and from the locations we wanted to visit. The beds were too small. The hotel room was not clean. Carpet had crumbs, toilet had stains, floors were not swept. The pool was not clean (indoor and outdoor), bandaids floating, lots of hair and dirt in the water.

It is a convenient hotel for a short travel to visit Toronto (20 min to downtown), in our case our travel was to go to a concert and a baseball game and was a really good experience.

The bed sheets, blanket, and pillows were awful — they weren’t white, and you could see lots of stains on them. When we asked for a change, they gave us another set that looked exactly the same and told us it was a “manufacturing thing.” Everything felt unclean. They didn’t even check the tissue box from the previous guest — after using just two tissues, it was empty. The room alert hadn’t been turned off from the last guest either, and the whole room smelled bad. Overall, the cleanliness was unacceptable. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This property is convenient for visiting the North York area. There is no ramp in the main lobby to get up to the elevator area. (four steps, requiring one to lift bags to that next level.) Desk staff was pleasant and efficient. Housekeeping staff friendly. The room was drab - wallpaper starting to peel at the seams, desk and drawers were of cheap construction. Bathroom could have been cleaner upon arrival (hair on floor and counter). This is an older property. I didn't use the amenities so have no opinion on those.
