I’m not used to big cities so I was a little worried about getting a hotel downtown but the hotel was very clean and the lobby and restaurant are great. Walking around outside felt safe. The grocery store just down the block made it easy to eat healthy and save on food. It is super close to the subway which is super easy to use to get downtown to the blue jays game or museum’s. There are so many options for nearby easy lunch or snacks including Tim Hortons, subway and pizza pizza. I have zero complaints and would stay here again if I go back to visit Toronto.

The hotel was perfect for a quick getaway. Directly by the subway so very convenient for those without a vehicle. Excellent restaurants nearby as well, notably Fran’s diner was a hit and open 24 hours (there’s a restaurant in the hotel but we don’t eat there). Only complaint is the elevators were slow. I’d stay here again!

The property is conveniently located, prices are ususally a bit less than other hotels in the area. My only pain point in this hotel is the elevator, you need to wait longer than usual, even after 9 pm or early morning.

Staff was very professional and helpful. They let us check in 4 hours early and upgraded our room… no charge. Room was quiet and spotless. Great location. We are seniors and were able to walk everywhere including to Union Station with our bags. Don’t skip the breakfast. It is a higher quality one with free range eggs, fresh blackberries and all sorts of delicious items. Would definitely stay here again.

A so/so stay

The room was fine for a night, but I certainly would't stay there a moment longer. The air in the room was stifling and could barely be adjusted, the bedding of one of our two double beds was stained with... something, but by that point in the evening we were too tired to request a change. Luckily the beds themselves were fairly comfortable.

Great family stay in Downtown Toronto. The hotel was well equipped and the breakfast was tasty and affordable (children eat free!). We used the pool too and found the staff to be really helpful.
