Had an "everything was great" experience! It's not a big, fancy downtown hotel, but just SO comfortable and warm. It would definitely be my choice again! Shuttle starts @ 7am but I needed it earlier and Mngr. Edgar took care of. Another time I didn't call for my downtown pickup yet, but I saw one of the shuttles, waved to the driver and she actually pulled over and blocked 2 lanes to pick me up. All I could say was"no she did not! It was actually funny!! True description of making a customer feel that they are # 1! So "special" thanks to Edgar, the female driver that "stopped" traffic for me and the young man that got me to Union Station early in the morning!

Estes Park is a beautiful place. We arrived in the area late that night because we had spent the day in the Pikes Peak area. We were dining late before checking in to the Best Western. I received a call from the hotel staff asking "are you still checking in tonight?" Of course, I answered "yes". I was informed that the front desk person "Bill" would be leaving at 10pm. Well, I wasn't going to make it there by 10, so he agreed to stay "late". We arrived at 10:15, checked in and proceeded to our room. The room was updated nicely. Everything was clean. There was just one hiccup: The clean sheets were stacked on the chair and not on the beds. I called the front desk and there was no answer. We just put the sheets on the bed ourselves. It was no big deal, but of course, we shouldn't have had to do this. I still give this place a high rating because, this was surely just an isolated mistake. The next morning, after a very nice complimentary breakfast, we spoke with Susan who gave us very helpful advice about our adventure into Estes Park. Without a doubt, driving the dirt road called "Old Falls Road" was the best part of our day, thanks to Susan for recommending that route. I would stay here again. The price is right and it checked our must have list for a hotel. We did not spend any time here....just arrived, slept, showered, ate breakfast and left. If that matches your travel needs, why spend more money elsewhere?
