Good location for going out downtown. Can walk everywhere, or you're very close to public transportation. Hotel provides a complimentary shuttle within a two mile radius of hotel. Wifi is free, and there is a cookie bar in the evening. Some things to keep in mind- no mini fridge in rooms, $38 for valet parking with option to leave and come back, and the only ice machine is on the 3rd floor. Considering Denver hotels, this is a good option given all things. We would come back.

Hotel location and staff where wonderful. We arrived early from the airport and the young lady at the desk was great. She upgraded our room and sent a text when it was ready. The concierge checked our luggage (a substantial amount of bags) while we checked out the 16th st mall. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

We were pleased with the hotel. The rooms were clean, the valet staff was quick, and the hotel restaurant made getting dinner with two young kids super easy. The ski shuttle drops you off right at the Winter Park base, though those lifts are super crowded.

Staying at Zephyr saves you the trouble of driving to the base or carrying your skies across the road and is close to the Zephyr lift, although it is not ski in or out. The units are functional and delivered clean, but decor is very basic. Keep in mind that ski school is still about a quarter mile walk in the snow away from Zephyr, carrying your equipment and your kids'. It is a condo rental with very few hotel services or ski help. Ffor example your room only gets serviced every three days and only if you stay longer than five days. It also takes many tries to get the services that are provided such as maintenance. There is no valet service, no boot driers, no help with luggage, and certainly no restaurants or room service. The decor and furnishing are very basic. If you stay in the slope side building, the hot tub is exposed to a wind tunnel which often makes for a very unpleasant experience. Parking is not expensive but you have to take a ticket coming in and pay every time you leave.

This was the third time that I stayed at the Boulderado and every time that I stayed there, the experience kept getting better and better. This hotel has stood the test of time and the staff could not have been more accommodating. First of all the hotel is so convenient and walking distance to the Pearl Street Mall which keeps getting better all the time as well. The restaurants are in the area are so diverse, and so good, it would be hard to make a mistake by visiting any one of them, but I digress...
We stayed in the historic building on the fifth floor. The rooms are large and immaculate and yet they have been modernized in the most subtle of ways to accommodate the most discriminating of travelers. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic along with the soaps, shampoo, lotions that were in each bathroom.
Whenever I visit Boulder, there is no other place that I would rather stay at.
