Just amazing architecture. Beautiful. Rooms are very quiet! We didn't hear anyone else. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. There is not a desk in the room we stayed in. But we were not there for work. The second floor does have conference amenities, chill out space, tables and chairs. Coffee from the lobby was spot on. I can't say enough good things about this place.
Lots of kinks to work out at this new place. Also bad neighborhood with nothing to do unless Uber. Do not walk around not safe. Servers and managers need massive training. So many other way better options to stay. Room was uncomfortable SMALL. TINY. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.
We loved the design and view from the Populus. Front desk staff and valets were really nice and helpful. My husband hit his head on a door and they got him ice, checked on him later, etc. They gave us 2 coins for free cocktails even but our waiter upstairs took them but then charged us for the cocktails (that was the only thing we didn't like). We would stay again.
The front desk, they’re amazing. The valet they’re amazing. The fact that I got charged $1000 to my credit card after I booked through Expedia and no one called and told me that they did it , or that they were going to fix it …or the fact that my husband and I were refused to take coffee cups to our room by the baristas… pretty much got accused of stealing… Or maybe the fact that they didn’t offer any remedy for these situations. Like I said they didn’t even call me and tell me my credit card was charged $1000 on “accident” They just “refunded” which by the way hasn’t happened yet either. Paying an extensive amount of money for 2 nights and then having this happen is just crazy. Absolutely no. Just no. What a mess. I’m so disappointed. I thought the “refund” in the notes was because of our experience not because they messed up and charged my card without even telling me.
Overall this was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Denver, it’s very unique, upscale, and the architecture is out of this world! The location of the property was perfect for the activities that we were doing such as going to see the Broncos game and Denver basketball ball game. I do wish they had their own parking not just valet because parking in the parking garage then walking back is not the safest. And for both of the restaurants I hope they add more to their menus. This hotel is a 9/10! Totally would recommend
We were there for a girls' weekend. We enjoyed the size of the room for 4 women. Check in was easy, room service provided us extra robes and dishes and silverware when our food ordered from a local restaurant arrived without silverware.
Due to "eco" there was no ice machine and we had to get ice from room service or the bar, which was fine, but it did delay our celebration in the room.
The coffee bar and lounge area was so crowded by neighborhood folks, not guests, that we could not get any coffee on Saturday morning. We understand the hotel is new so there are many people checking it out, but as a guest is was very frustrating.
We also wished there had been a spa or additional amenities in the exercise room: water, towels, ice...
The menu at Pasque was very limited and breakfast was not served late into the morning. Stellar Jay seemed too expensive but it is a beautiful restaurant.
All the staff were very accommodating and kind. We thought it was a very unique space.
Beautiful hotel with a wonderful rooftop bar. Staff were all exemplary. Room facing Colfax Ave. was too loud with traffic noise. Food and drink was overpriced even for a unique "local" experience.
architecturally interesting. still working out the kinks with personnel and customer relations. we had issues with noisy hvac and sewer gas odor. management didn’t show concern with the noted issues and offered a free coffee in exchange for the inconvenience. hopefully as the staff gains experience and can own responsibility the hotel will match its potential.
The hotel was well designed and the room was great.
I live between LA and NY and use to a bit of "exclusivity" from the staff. The attitude at check in, the restaurant and bar were were just rude. There were a series rules that no one made me aware of and were quickly let know when we didn't know them. Eye contact from the staff was non- existent. Denver is great and so are its people. Maybe someone should remind the management of that.
We just did a short overnight stay to attend an evening at Christkindl Market. The hotel is brand new so very clean and all staff eager to please. The exterior is designed to look like an aspen tree and has beautiful nature esthetics in the interior design also. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean, but be aware that the room size is quite small (common for downtown) and the lighting around the vanity area lighting is dim - difficult for dealing with contact lenses and doing hair/makeup before going out. Overall, would recommend as a new and different place to stay in Denver.
We went here for the unique architecture and beauty. It was beautiful for sure. My ONLY complaint was the sustainability preaching. Felt like woke virtue signaling and that's not why we went. But super pretty rooms, comfy beds, gorgeous views and convenient location. Worth spending a night there for sure.
