Bit sketchy

Location is a bit sketchy and we were nervous about the safety of our car in the parking garage. Not safe to walk around and definitely in a car dependent location. The hotel itself has been renovated and the rooms are nice. We were woken by a fire alarm and evacuation during our stay and disrupted during the night with renovation and maintenance in the rooms around us. Not a very restful or relaxed stay.

Staycation win!

Pool was super warm and for sure the highlight! Also a nice hot tub. Chill vibe and fun ambiance with a variety of decor and lighting throughout. Staff were friendly and food was delicious. Room was spacious and convenient. Cool game room to play pool. The only bad things were the lobby and hallways had an overwhelming sort of cleaning/floral scent (IDK if it was air freshener or cleaning solution but it was aggressive) and none of the games besides pool were functional (I had really wanted to play skeeball since I saw they had it when browsing hotels). Will likely stay again!

I checked in late, was given late check out.. paid for 2 comp breakfasts and garage parking (or so I thought) I have briefly worked at the Renaissance in dt Seattle previously, if a guest had two comp breakfasts & only needed one, we’d let the guest trade in a breakfast for a free night of parking (if the person simply asked, since one person doesn’t really need two breakfasts) Well since I booked through a third party I was told I could not change anything! I parked in the garage but amazingly wasn’t charged! The breakfast was delicious (and I got two of em) The room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the balcony and watching the sun rise ☀️ The buildings architecture was amazing and so was the pool area! Would definitely stay again!
