Very good place to stay - but skip the breakfast!

The room was spacious and kept very clean throughout my multi-day stay. The location was perfect for my downtown meetings and was also close to the major shopping area there. Bartenders were great and the bar was surprisingly lively. Breakfast was not a good value, though - vastly overpriced for nothing special. Easy walk to better morning options outside the hotel.

We choose this location due to it being central to things we wanted to see and drive to but long story short- we'll stay somewhere else next time. The hotel was clean but very noisy, busy, and very hectic. The staff themselves seemed to be more interested in the daily gossip than checking us or helping during each of the times we wanted to ask them something. It was a good place to sleep, but we'll seek out other options next time.

The smell. Oh my gosh. I’m not sure if it was incense or perfume, but it was sickening to walk through the lobby. Every time we would bolt through the lobby to the elevator as fast as we could to avoid the smell. I get wanting to have the place smell good, but this was like having perfume sprayed in your face. Other than that, staff was great. Parts of the hotel looked old (worn out carpet in the halls, but most of it looked fairly good. Room was great and clean.
