"Iconic hotel, not necessarily the best. "
Estes Park is a great base for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. Stanley Hotel is iconic and its connection to the movie Shining makes it a special place to visit and stay at.

"Nice hotel "
We only stayed one night. Location was nice but the room felt cramped. Our window above the bed faced uphill looking at a private home. Rooms in the main hotel were probably worth the price, but not ours which was in the "Annex".

"Nice Condo in the Mountains"
We enjoyed our stay in the two bedroom condo at Marys Lake Lodge Mountain Resort. Our condo was clean, spacious, and had just enough amenities. Our kids loved the hot tub on the deck too. Hotel staff was nice, we did not try the restaurant, as we had our own kitchen in our unit. The pool area and pool were good, only bad thing was the hot tub at the pool was not working.

"Nice escape in the mountains!"
I took my 17 year old daughter and 73 year old mother for a sleepover in the mountains before my daughter started her senior year in high-school. We just wanted a peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable time for the night. Well it was a success! We all had the best time and would do it all over again. I'm thankful for the enjoyment we got here at the hotel! The hottub was nice, the room was nice, the whole trip was nice!

"Great weekend getaway"
Staff called to let us know the room was ready @ 11 AM! What a pleasant surprise. It was nice to know that we could check in early. Just going up for the weekend from Denver. Our usual hotel was booked, so we tried Coyote Mountain. Lodge. Nice staff, very clean room at a good rate, with a great view. Discovered that the free shuttle leaves from across the highway every half hour! Took advantage, and avoided all the traffic downtown, not to mention parking. We will definitely stay at the Coyote next trip.

"Nicely maintained older motel."
Cordial staff, helpful. Very clean motel, simple breakfast--cereals, rolls, coffee. Located in a less congested area. A good motel to meet your needs if you want a good bed and a clean place to sleep. In my opinion it is for people who want a place to sleep and then be active elsewhere for the day.

It was wonderful! We enjoyed our stay and loved that it was a condo so we all had our own space and could cook there! We saw lots of elk from our deck and will be back again in October!

"Mountain cabin"
First visit to Estes Park and I loved it. I booked the last room in town for the weekend and wasn't sure if the room would be up to my standards but was pleasantly surprised. Photos online really don't do it justice. My room had a large covered deck, gas grill, hammock and was very quiet and private. I wish I would have stayed longer and I definitely would go back. Furnishings are outdated but everything was in working order.

"Great location"
The motel was in the perfect location for us. We were there to hike as much as we could in the Rocky Mt Nation Park and being at the Alpine Inn allowed us to do just that. And it was close enough to the Estes Park downtown area to get great meals in the evening.

Estes Park is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Estes Park, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Estes Park hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
