The surf building we stayed in was close to the beach. The elevator smelled like mildew, but the room was extremely clean. Saltwater pool was nice, they had a smaller kids pool play area close to the beach that had slides and water tunnel that my son loved. Hotel was close to everything, but parking on the weekend at he building we were in was horrible, during the week plenty of parking. Outside of hotel needed updated, but so do most of the hotels on ocean blvd.

I found that every staff member of the dunes Village resort was very friendly just passing them in the hall or by the pool or in the motel restaurant and as we left the doorman always very very friendly pleasant

Great Hotel with nice smell to it... I know it sounds weird, but it's like they burn incense or something in there. It is a beach smell, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Either way it smells great. Room was nice, facilities were great, including the big pool, and two bars. It has direct beach access as well.
