After looking at all the hotels in the area this was my choice for our honeymoon. The location are perfect, the staff very friendly. I did it know this hotel/resort was part of a time share. It won't have changed our staying there. Tammy was a delight, sorry we didn't meet on Wednesday.
Things we didn't like. In tower 1 the elevators...scary, the hallways to the rooms were not cooled...rather warm, the hot tub...I like hot tubs but something about this ones just made me, ugh.
Otherwise a very nice hotel/resort. 3.5

This is a nice oceanfront hotel with direct beach access. They have a salt water pool with lots of chairs and lounges for guests. On the beach you can rent lounges, umbrellas, jet skis or take surf lessons. It is directly adjacent to a long fishing pier as well. Across the street are many restaurants, shops etc. The hotel boasts the only Starbucks on the island, but no open/close times are posted. I went to the shop at 8:30 a.m. and it wasn't open.
The hotel room itself is nothing special. It did have a lot of counter space in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have chairs on the balcony. Also, if you like to take the stairs, the stairwells were filthy.

Loved the beach and pool areas! Service around the pool from the bar as excellent. The shuttle took us wherever we needed to go which was nice because traffic on the island was getting crazy. The rooms were spotless.

Upon check in, I was given keys to a room that was occupied. This was frustrating after traveling over 8 hours and carrying bags. The clerk apologized and gave me a room on the 3rd floor.
The staff at the porch was really nice and the bartenders were great! I enjoyed the fact that I could walk out onto the beach at 6:00 in the morning and enjoy my coffee.
The hotel is not fancy, but ok for a traditional beach hotel.

Have me the wrong room however I will say it was still a nice room. Was needing two queen beds but end up getting one king. So had to get to roll away beds. Room didn't get cleaned til nighttime. Will say I commented on such to the head check in clerk and he credited me for the problem. I would still stay there again. So I do recommend.
