Everything was beautiful except that the choice of artwork was tone deaf for persons of color. I stayed in room 231. Picture by the front door was of an enslaved person. This did not make me feel warm and cozy

We got married in their courtyard. Our room was beautiful we had a nice sitting room as well as separate bedroom. We had dinner at the Pennisula Grill. All the staff knew that we were just married and treated us like royalty! We could not have been any happier with the total experience!

We were shown two rooms that had an overwhelming musty smell ie mold, and were upgraded to a new room in a different newer building which was very nice. I would be hesitant to stay in the older sick building.
