This is a lovely hotel with very attentive staff. Our room was lovely and perfect for a family. We had a double queen with a living area. Oversized bathroom with large shower and great water pressure! We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine which was very nice and unexpected. Front desk staff when checking in were lovely. We loved the Peninsula Grill which is the hotel’s restaurant. Quite the dining experience. We also over Benne’s, which was the cafe right next door owned by Peninsula Grill. Great for special coffees and bakery items. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Was not greeted by anyone when we arrived and had to manage heavy luggage on our own. We did not receive the room that we reserved. We were then assigned a room that was next to a very loud busy street with no refrigerator. The staff were less than friendly. We expected much more from this expensive hotel. It is historically old but not in a good way.

The staff deserves a huge shout out. Car pick up by calet. Bags taken to our room while we were out on a carriage ride. Returned to our room found a complimentary bottle of persecco spotless very comfortable room. Car delivered to door and bags loaded all without a hitch. Excellent stay at this very centrally located hotel.
