Beautiful hotel, cold showers

The shower was inadequate— no hot water. We let the front desk know and they were very sweet and moved us to a new room. Unfortunately, that room also had no hot water. So we had to deal with barely warm/cold showers for the entire stay… and for the price of the hotel per night this seemed unreasonable. The hotel staff acknowledged that there had been other complaints and that they were looking into it. We had to dispute a charge for being upgrade for the inconvenience which was taken care of immediately. Beautiful property, very cold showers! Location was perfect! Staff was accommodating and lovely.

A wonderful and unique benefit is the gourmet coffee and water station on every floor and the record players and album selections in the Suites. A welcome drink and a beautiful glass of wine at Little Palm were also appreciated.

I’ve stayed in this lovely hotel several times. Staff is lovely. It is time to update the mattresses. My first room had a mattress that was sunken in and felt like a spring was in my back. The staff were gracious to move me to another room. It was only slightly better.

Fabulous location! Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Loved having a restaurant and a coffee shop and also a gym to balance those other two out. Perfect location to explore downtown Charleston. I highly recommend it!

This hotel is darling. Gorgeous decor and nice touches throughout. Great service. Delicious restaurant and coffee shop. Convenient to City Market and beautiful French Quarter. We loved our stay and hated to leave!

I stayed in a bi-level suite which was a great setup, however it faced an outdoor patio courtyard and was extremely noisy. Also, I had a package that was offered through Expedia and the discount described upon check-in (food and bev charged to room) was not what was given upon checkout. The hotel was very sketchy when I inquired. I would not recommend signing up for any inclusive room packages.

The rooms with two king beds are amazing. The bathrooms are very large and modern. It has a very nice coffee shop and restaurant that was convenient. I have stayed here several times. I will continue to stay here on my trips to Charleston.

Overall a nice property. Our room was very small. It got pretty cold at night and our heat would not get above 66 in room. Drink station on floor was also out of order during the duration of our stay.
