It was nice to be in this hotel: very clean everywhere, very good bed linen and towels. It is clear that they are not old. The dishes in the kitchen were a little lacking. And there is no room where you can sit in the company of friends

We liked this property for family vacations. Nice pools, on the beach, good area. We came at the time of construction and it caused some noise. But overall we like this place and would come back again.

Arrived the first day to hear that they had structural damage which no fault of their own but it caused a section of their pool deck to be closed off and one of the pools to be closed let alone the constant banging and grinding we had to hear while they fixed it and on my last day there was even more work where they had all the pools closed and tarped over and dust floating everywhere that I left and sat at airport for 6 hours instead but then there was the leaky toilet and tub I had to put towels around as to not slip and when I made the front desk aware of it the only remedy I received was the towels to be arranged neatly around said areas and new towels at least.

The hotel was not what we were expecting from what we read about it on the listing and their website. The parking was a block and a half away from the hotel and it said the parking was at the hotel not a block and a half away. The listing said the hotel was updated and it was not up to date.

The noise from the construction was horrible and constant and it would have been nice to know that was going on before we booked. Extremely loud construction cranes are right outside the hotel obstructing the view of the ocean. I was overcharged by $56 at the bar my first night here, bartender tried to give me a cash refund of the difference even though my card was charged for the full amount and it took the her 30 minutes to void the transaction and solve the issue. The employees exchanging towels at the pool are slow, rude, and acted like they couldn't be bothered to swap out our towels. When I asked the front desk for directions to the bar she replied rudely to me and did not answer my question. The fridge in the room was old and loud, the lights constantly flickered, and the dishwasher leaked water all over the floor. The hotel has a policy that they do not hold food delivery for their guests. This was not told to us. We ordered food delivery and it took 5 minutes to get to the lobby to pick it up, the driver was gone. The desk workers told me they do not hold food for guests per hotel policy. We were charged for the food and never received it. The driver was sent away by the desk manager. I complained about this, to Mariel, and was told someone would call me momentarily to talk about this issue, at 11am. No one called us. An employee entered our room at 830am despite the door being locked and do not disturb sign posted. We were not fully clothed, it was shocking.
