We had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom spa bath apartment for a family of 4. Apartment had free wi-fi, 2 tvs, fully equipped kitchen and an espresso maker (capsules). We paid to have a beach facing apartment and this was well worth the extra $$. Most days we had breakfast/lunch on the balcony, which overlooked Bullock Beach. Pools was perfect for our 7 and 10 year old girls. Kids need to be able to swim to fully enjoy them. The lap pool had somewhat salty water and was heated. The other pool had fresh water and was a bit colder (not heated). There was also a spa pool to chill out in. Happy hour in the pool bar between 3.30pm and 4.30pm everyday. Drinks served in plastic glasses and allowed in the pool area. Bikes available for renting.

We arrived on a sunday afternoon and had to ring to get of keycard. The room smelt like disinfect, there was a face washer with disinfect on it. There was water damage to the door architrave which lead into the bathroom.

Travelled as a couple. Booked studio spa room. No regrets. Room itself was more than enough for our needs with a separate sitting area. Bathroom was more than decent size, extremely comfortable. Bit dated but as long as things are functioning and in good condition we don't really mind it. Small well equipped kitchenette a real boon for breakfast or having dinner in the room. Large balcony,Views mind blowing..we were on a higher floor but because of the location of the resort, I guess pretty much all the rooms will have the views. Lower floors may be slightly noisy due to swimming pool location, but people are in the pool only during daylight hours so do not think that may be an issue.
Location of the resort itself is fantastic as it is in a quieter part of Caloundra and extremely peaceful. lovely for walking along the boardwalk. Small mini market just outside the resort and a few cafes/takeaways. Most of them close by 5pm with the exception of a chinese takeway and the mini market which is open till around 8.30 pm. However only about 5-7 minutes drive to the centre of Caloundra where there is more choice of dining and also a Coles and Woolworths.
Parking. there seem to be more units than car parks in the actual building. They have another open air park behind the bldg however this is always full too. Have to depend on street parking then. This does create a bit of pressure as one is constantly hunting for a suitable park, basically it is first come first serve

Caloundra, in southeast Queensland, is home to seven different beaches including Currimundi Beach and Lake, named Australia's Cleanest Beach in 2004. Only Dicky Beach and Kings Beach have year-round lifeguard patrols. Just inland from Caloundra are two interesting sites: Australia Zoo, owned by Terri Irwin, and Glass House Mountains National Park.
