Nice hotel in a good area. Away from the full hustle and bustle but close enough to be able to walk to the shops and the wharf. Was excepting a little more with the room for the price we paid though. The bathroom was super small and there was a problem with the flush on the toilet. Also there was no hand soap or shower cap and I would expect these things in a hotel like this. The buffet breakfast was great and had a lot of choice. Check in and out was very smooth and we were lucky to be given access to our room early.

We were just here for one night and can recommend the hotel Grand Chancellor. Service and checkin smooth, room clean and tidy with all necessary amenities.
We had a hire car so here literally to sleep and eat breakfast, but we noticed there was very little of interest nearby to this hotel.

Have stayed at the GCH a few times. On arrival I found I'd been upgraded to a premium room which was nice. I try to arrive before 5pm to be the coaches so check in was pretty quick, but I do feel they could have more staff on reception.
Room was very large with view for the ocean and city. Very clean and an amazing spa and shower.
Bed was comfortable and plenty of power points to charge devices. My only suggestion would be a pod coffee machine in the Premium rooms.
I should note, parking still is an issue due as it's shared with the shopping centre. Quiet often you have to park well away from the Hotel lifts.
