"Short stay in Singapore"
My daughter and two teenage granddaughters stayed here for four nights. Though the check in staff could have been a little more friendly they were efficient and informed us that we could use the large pool and hotel facilities whilst waiting for our room to be ready. We did check in at breakfast time and were tired from our flight so this was a bonus. The hotel were able to partially fulfill our bedding request of twin rooms, the girls didn't mind too much having to share the king size bed. Our rooms were adequate for our needs as we spent most of the time exploring our surrounds. It is well positioned for public transport and close enough to walk to a number of places. We used taxis most of the time for convenience and speed and there was always one available. There is a reasonable shopping centre across the road. The porters and conciege were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. We also made good use of the mobile phone that is in the room. Great for finding your way around and checking places on the internet. Overall a great stay.

"Great hotel close to the metro "
Great hotel close to a main metro station and within walking distance of Orchard Rd and Marina Sands. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not eat on site as it was very expensive, thankfully there was lots of options close by.

"Close to Orchard Towers"
A nice oasis close to the Orchard Towers. I really did enjoy their breakfast at the Italian restaurant with the waterfall. It was sophisticated with touches of European. The room was clean and the beds were way comfortable. The only gripe is that the shower stall leaks if the water accumulates.

"Feb 2017"
Like we do, we read the previous customer comments on the website written about customer experiences etc and have that touch of doubt in the back of your head, anyway we just finally booked with Hotel Vagabond in Singapore for 6 nights. What I can say, we weren’t disappointed. This was our first trip to Singapore. We arrived late in the evening at the hotel, and welcomed at the door by two friendly hotel staff, who instantly made us feel welcome, made check-in easy and streamlined, I have to agree with previous customer comments that the staff had been really great the entire time we stayed, friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is located a relatively short walk from Lavender Metro station, overall our train trip from Changi Airport to hotel was quick and easy. If you decide to travel via train service - you travel on the green circuit line from Changi Airport, change trains at Tanah Merah station and continue on the Green Metro circuit until you reach Lavender Station, then a short 10 minute walk to the hotel. We bought a refundable metro ticket $20 which we used over the whole time spent in Singapore using the metro service, trains and buses which are quick, easy and very reliable. Overall the hotel is very clean, tidy, and unique in styling, rooms are not huge, but the bed was very comfortable, great air con & rooms serviced perfectly every day. Thank you Hotel Vagabond, and big thank you to its staff for making our stay in Singapore special & welcoming.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
