"Great option "
Great option to stay in Acapulco. The courtesy coffee and bread every morning is really good. Customer service is remarkable. The trip to the beach club is kind of far but it worths. Excellent sky line.

"Nice hotel - needs some updating but comfortable"
The room was spacious and clean (except a little sewage smell coming from the toilet - they were repairing the pipes during our visit). Valet is great and quick with cars, view was amazing and the restaurants and bars onsite were nice. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. They were doing alot of work during our stay which was a little noisy and took up quite a bit of space in the lobby -sheetrock work. However the beds are extremely firm (and I like a firm bed). But it felt like I was sleeping on the tile floor! Elevators - 1 of the 3 elevators was not working while we were there for 4 days. We got stuck in in for a few minutes one day and I told the front desk about it. I was told they were repairing it and not to use it. They never posted signs or closed it so people kept getting in it and getting stuck.

"For a specific type of traveller"
I loved my stay here. The hotel, rooms, food and, of course, front row seating to watch the cliff divers. If you have come for beaches, sterile crowded high rise hotels and trinket shopping and to spend time on your WiFi, this is not it. No beaches and a taxi ride to heart of town, no WiFi. Walking around a working neighbourhood, beautiful scenery which takes you around a promontory. The rooms are old, the tile pigments have worn away but it's still lovely with cosy rooms, comfortable beds and I got a big balcony. Door lock was broken so I stood around with increasing members of staff, laughing as everybody had a go. Great history which you can feel...popular with celebrities many years ago. There are English speaking staff, they have to be hunted down though and everyone is consistently friendly. OXO small supermarket almost across the road with many types of beer...buy a bottle of each to taste and enjoy on your balcony. There is a fridge in the room. Drawbacks: food is pricey with no options other than to go into town. If you want a genteel Acapulco, this is it.

"Best location but 50 year hotel which needs upkeep"
Large hotel, beach front, security on property and about 4 or 5 swimming pools (fresh and salt water). Large rooms but shows its age with the elevators, bathrooms. Wi Fi service on some areas but not in your room. Restaurants with excellent food. Bar has live music every night. Hotel personnel was rude on a couple of occasions. They put more attention to convention guest or special event guest where you end up being removed or kicked out of areas or swimming pools for private events. Problem was that they do not notify paying customers of events or activities in the morning or previous night, the hotel has many areas to relax or go swimming somewhere else in the property; but to be kicked out of the area on the last minute ....... it spoiled my evening.

"Nice location with beach & mountain view"
hotel location is good. near to all shopping and restaurants. safe to walk at night. but very crowded lobby with locals. the pool is too small for all the guess to enjoy. mostly local client, not for foreigner. it's like a market place at the pool areas. the beach is discharge place for sewer water on both sides of the hotel. beach is not safe for swimming. too polluted and high waves.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Acapulco Tradicional, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Acapulco Tradicional hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
