Our mid-October stay gave us run of the house with extremely low occupancy. Beach is private with no surf, great for swimming and snorkeling. The three pools are crystal clear, one with several water falls. The hotel was well staffed for low season and we received fantastic service. The grounds and view are world class. Rooms are enormous - 45 square meters. We opted for a Club room with breakfast and happy hour. Well worth the extra money. Short cab ride to great restaurants - Zibu, Sirocco, Bella Vista, Tony's. Camino Real's restaurants are modestly price and the food is well prepared. The Camino Real is extremely private within an exclusive private area with guarded entry gate.

I felt like royalty with their bar staff kept continually checking in on us while at the pool to make sure you had didn't need anything. The servers were so kind. The rooms are also big and they don't have pictures but there's a long table, sink, microwave, and fridge.
The kids pool is separated from the adult pool. Despite the bad reputation Acapulco had now, we felt very safe at the hotel, beach, and surrounding areas.

Room was excellent. Night entertainment was just great! If you are planning an adults' vacation go in the months of February, March, and April. This was the only thing wrong too many children. Sometimes we couldn't be on the pool bar as children were around the area jumping all over. There is not an adult assigned pool. Food was ok but could use more variety.

Took my wife and two kids to the hotel for a fall vacation. The hotel and all of Ixtapa was very vacant of people. We go there twice a year and never seen it this sparce of people. Our stay at the Tesoro was our first and not a big fan of All-inclusive but the food was varied enough to keep things interesting and the quality was good. The staff was helpful and polite and our stay was very pleasant.
A note to management is that you should advertise your fitness facitlity more. I have stayd at almost all Ixtapa's hotels and you have the best workout room and weights. Real weight, not some sand or water filled jokes you buy from Sears. My wife has a fitness competition coming up and was able to get full body workouts at your hotel.
We will be sure to stay here again in the future.
Also note my kids loved the activities you had during the day and comidic show you had at night. We stayed completly entertained on your grounds

A would be great experience if management invests in maintaining and updating amenities (particularly the pool area). Thankfully the staff especially Liz at the front desk make up for a decent stay, everyone is really nice and helpful, other reason to stay is the fact that they let you use the resort (Montetaxco) next to the villas amenities' such as pool. restaurants, golf etc,,,highly recommend their breakfast very good food, awesome views and great prices.
