We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is just a block from the main drag that takes you to the plaza. We splurged for the deluxe room and it was more than worth it at only $140 a night. Very clean, huge bathroom with jacuzzi and walk-in shower, awesome super king bed, small sitting area with a skylight, and plenty of space. We wished it had more windows, but that was not a big deal.
The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions. We had breakfast just one of the days we were there and it had a fine selection.
I'll take this opportunity to mention that Zaragoza is a wonderful city to visit (at least for a few days). We were able to walk everywhere we went. The Plaza del Pillar is always hopping and the basilica is one of the most beautiful I've seen. Take a walk across the bridge and get a view of it from the other side of the river as the sun is going down.

Very good experience. As mentioned, hotel staff made the difference. As an example, a cleaning lady working some 30 ft (9m) from elevator, drop her job, walk to the elevator to call the elevator, and punch my floor number as I was having my hands full.

Updated hotel, staff (Juan) very helpful & able to joke with us in English. Had to park a few blocks away- had trouble getting back only because police had blocked traffic. Easy walking to boulevards & major church Our Lady of the Pillar, Goya museum worth seeing.
Nice restaurant - many locals

Novotel hotels are usually great. This was a surprise. The parking garage is horrible (no spots, same entry and exit, creating nightmares at busy times) and parking is way overpriced, especially with what l described before). You can't change temperature in your room! I stayed in February and my room was close to 85F throughout my stay.

Near the hospital which was convenient for me and a short walk to the park and the tram to the old town. The rooms are very clean and well maintained and the bed was comfortable. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
